Chapter 3

"Jana!"

Jana screams in happiness upon seeing me. She immediately gave me a tight hug.

"Ali!" malakas na sigaw niya, tumatalon-talon habang nakayakap sa akin.

Napailing-iling nalang ako.

Nang kumalas siya ay nginisihan ko siya. "What are you thinking for coming over here? Ano, may lalaki ka rito?" mapanukso kong sabi, tinutukso siya.

Malakas siyang napatawa sa sinabi ko, hinahampas pa ako. "Well, let's just say, it's like that."

Bahagya akong napanganga sa sinabi niya. Ang bruha, hindi manlang tumanggi!

"Sino 'yan, ha? Guwapo ba? Pasok sa standards?"

Tumingin siya kay Mason at ngumiti. "Hindi masyadong guwapo pero okay narin."

Napanganga ako. "What?! You should choose the best one! Dapat 'yong pasok sa taste natin, Jana!" I groaned, shaking my head. "Wala, ang hina mo. Nasa'n na 'yong we'll choose the best one because we are the best na quote natin, wala na 'yon?"

I was just talking to Jana when Mason suddenly snaked his arm on my waist. "Babe, you know Jana. She wouldn't choose a man who doesn't suit on her taste. So it means, he was a standard, especially she came here for him." Mason smirked at her.

One of Jana's brows rose up. "Pasok siya sa taste ko pero hindi siya standard."

I chuckled at their sudden fray. "You know what, let's just talk about it on our place, babe." I looked at Jana while we were walking out of the airport. "Jana, where are you staying, by the way?"

Napatigil sila sa paglalakad at napatingin sa akin. Nagpabalik-balik ang paningin ko sa kanila.

"About that matter, Ali, I'll be staying on Mason's condo."

Bahagyang nagsalubong ang kilay ko sa sinabi ni Jana.

Condo, what?

"Babe, Jana talked about me on that, and I... gave her a permission. Look, I tried to be on your shoe while she was asking me that, if she can stay in my condo, and me, thinking about you, that you might allow that, gave her a permission. Was my insights, correct, babe?"

I gave them a forced smile. Well, I wasn't mad about Jana staying in Mason's condo. Well, it was our private space, but I don't mind her staying with us. It's just that, I was disappointed on Mason. How come he didn't discussed it to me about that thing?

I felt a bit heavy when we reached Mason's condo. Jana and I shared the same room while Mason's probably on his room. Mason's condo has two rooms, fortunately, he has two. Kahit na magboyfriend kami ay hindi kami nagtatabi sa pagtulog.

I am a badass. I am rebellious, but that doesn't mean I'll let people ruin my dignity. We cuddle, yes. We kissed, we have intimate relationship, but we never slept on one room. I never allow that on our relationship.

"I'll just buy a cigar. I'll be back."

Lutang ako nang lumabas ng condo. I walk down the street and bought at the nearby store.

Nakabili na ako't lahat pero hindi na muna ako bumalik sa condo. I stayed for a minute or two in a place where I could think. I don't want to get mad, so I think I'll just need to think.

I heaved a deep sigh before I stood up and decided to come back at the condo unit. I just got in. I was about to open the door of my room when I heard some voices on the other room.

"What if she'll come back? Mason, I don't want her to see us like this."

I've heard Mason chuckled. "Oh, come on. I know she won't come back that early after leaving. You knew her too well, Jana. What's with the concern voice?"
