"Ate..."

Napalingon ako sa nagsalita. I smiled. It was Louis, the youngest Silvestre.

He looked down, playing with his hands. He was hesitating on the things he wanted to say.

Yumuko ako at tiningnan siya. "What is it?"

He pouted. "Can you invite kuya Giovanni and kuya Clive on the amusement park this saturday? I wanted them to talk. I wanted them to spend time together. It's been years since they don't bond. I missed their bondings."

Oh, boy. We have the same thoughts.

"I don't think I can forced them to go, but I will try."

Napatawa ako nang biglaan siyang ngumiti sa akin. "Thank you, ate!"

Aidan chuckled. "Let's go, kiddo."

Tumalikod na si Louis at sumakay sa sasakyan. Aidan then looked at me, smirking.

"He's scared at you, Ali. I'm glad he faced his fears just for the sake of his brothers."

Napapasagitsit lang ako. Kung magsalita siya parang katakot-takot nga ako.

Nang mapatingin sa likuran ko ay nawala ang ngisi sa mukha niya at napalitan ng lungkot at galit. I didn't know what and whom it is for.

Tumingin ako sa likuran at nakita ko si Liliana na nakayuko nang naglalakad palapit sa sasakyan.

"Bakit ngayon ka lang?"

I hissed. Inis kong tiningnan si Aidan ngunit nakatalikod na siya. He was harsh on her yet he was still guiding her on the car. Tsh!

I just got on the school. I was walking on the school ground when I heard some giggles on my back. Lumingon ako at napangisi nang makitang sabay na naglalakad ang mga magkakapatid. Rowan and Aiden, as usual, they're smirking, enjoying the satisfying sound that they hear.

I shook my head on that.

I was smirking at them when we heard a loud shout from someone on their back.

"Oppa!"

Napapatigil sa paglalakad sina Giovanni at napapatingin sa likuran nila. Just then, the girl runs toward their direction and hugged Giovanni.

Who is... she?

The students chuckled at what the girl had done. Even the other Silvestres were laughing, looking at Giovanni and the new girl hugging each other. They were shocked at first, as if they can't believe on the girl's presence today. But when the girl hugged their brother, they laughed.

"Yuka, when did you arrive?" It was Giovanni, as if still shocked at the girl's presence.

"Yesterday."

"Yesterday?" It was Clive. Inakbayan niya ang babae at tiningnan. "You should've told us, para masundo ka namin."

"Yeah," the other Silvestres affirmed.

Napapairap sa ere ang babae. "What am I? A child? I don't need your fucking presence, Silvestres."

Rowan chuckled. "Yeah, right, badass Yuka."

They're... acquaintances. But based on what I have observed, they're more than that.

Nang mapansin na papatingin na sina Clive sa direksyon ko ay kaagad akong tumalikod. Akmang maglalakad na ako nang humarang naman sa daan ko sina Rina at 'yong mga kaibigan niya.
