"You can stay in Whitehaven Palace for a while. It was still dangerous to just stay anywhere." It was Giovanni, suggesting. We're here in the terminal. Kakarating lang.

"No," I immediately say. I averted my gaze when I saw how they looked at me.

Fuck it! I'm not yet ready to face them all.

I faked a cough. "I mean, we're fine in a hotel." I looked at Christian. "You told me before we have lots of hotels here. We can just stay anywhere on our hotel."

"Even though it's your hotel, it was quite risky. It was dangerous for all of you. Maraming puwedeng pumasok sa hotel."

Napapatiim-bagang ako.

"Giovanni---"

"I was just concerned to our kids. I don't want them to get hurt. I can't afford to just let them stay in a dangerous place where I could let them stay on my place."

Right! It was just for the trio. He was just concerned to them. What did I expect?!

"I can also decide on my children. Hindi lang ikaw ang magdedesisyon." I gritted my teeth as I glared at him.

Hindi siya nagpahuli at tiningnan din ako. Nagsukatan kami ng tingin.

Christian heaved a deep sigh. "Taegan, you can stay in his place."

Gulat akong napapatingin kay Christian. "What? Why would I? We can just stay in a hotel, Christian!"

"Yes, we can. But Lucian, Sebastian and I... we can't stay here for long---"

"And we can stay there for long?" I disappointedly looked at him.

He heaved a deep sigh. "Well, you can go home but because of the situation..." He trailed off ,looking at the kids. "And besides, they still need to get to know their father, so you should stay here."

Bahagya akong nainis sa sinabi niya. "Hindi ako ang mag-a-adjust para sa kanya!"

"Taegan!"

Nagulat ako nang sigawan niya ako. This is the first time that he shouted at me.

He averted his gaze. "I told you to consider their feelings. Nakalimutan mo?"

Napapaiwas ako ng tingin, napapatagis sa bagang ko para pigilan ang pag-iyak.

"Tama na." Ramdam ko ang paghawak ni Sebastian sa balikat ko. Inilayo niya ako kay Christian at tiningnan. "Hey. We can't stay here any longer. We need to be back home. Sebastian fully convinced me to stay. But the fact that we need to stay in Whitehaven Plaace, it keeps on getting into my nerves.

Giovanni pursed his lips. Christian made a face and Sebastian chuckled.

"Kayo lang sa Whitehaven Palace. Sa hotel kami. Babyahe na kami bukas kaya hindi puwedeng sa hotel lang din kayo. I can't rely on our men these days. Our rivals were determined to get anyone of us." He looked at Giovanni. "Dude, take care on the one and only young Lady of Del Mundos."

We're now on our way to Whitehaven Palace. I am not yet ready to face them, especially to live there for a while. But I just can't risk my children's safety.

"We're here."
