"Aaliyah."

I immediately turn my back at him. Isang linggo na ang nakalipas simula nang makauwi kami galing sa cruise ship.

I hissed.

I was still angry at him for ruining the whole vacation! And I was mad at myself for being one of those reason!

"Hey." Hinawakan niya ang braso ko at pinaharap sa kanya.

"What?" I coldly say.

I saw how his eyes softened. He averted his gaze away from me.

"You're still angry?"

I hissed before turning my back again. Napapasagitsit ako nang habulin niya ako at harangan.

"I'm sorry... but I am not sorry."

"What?" Bahagyang nagsalubong ang kilay ko.

Is he throwing a trick on me?

Kita ko kung paano sumama ang timpla ng mukha niya, mukhang nahihirapang magpaliwanag.

"Look... I'm sorry for making you feel bad. But I am not sorry for the things that I had done. I did the right thing---"

Umirap ako sa ere at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad. I was walking on a school ground, on my way to my department and here he was, pestering the hell out o me.

"Can you please leave me alone? You're bothering me."

Natigilan siya at napatitig sa akin. Nailang ako sa paraan ng pagtingin niya sa akin dahilan para mapaiwas ako ng tingin. Akmang maglalakad na ako nang magsalita siya.

"You're already my girlfriend, right? I just want to clarify it. I don't want to assume things---"

I mockingly laughed at him. "Did you take those shit seriously? Come on, Giovanni! You're not a fucking child to believe on that bet!"

He smiled bitterly at me as he bowed down a little. "Then I would rather be a child thinking that you would be mine for that bet. I would rather chose you... thinking me as a child if that's the only way I could have your heart."

Natitigilan ako sa sinabi niya.

What the fuck? Is he insane?

I mockingly smirked at him. "You just like me and you kept on acting like you wanted me to be part of your life. Ganyan na ba kababaw ang tingin mo sa pagmamahal, Giovanni?" I composed myself, seriously looking at him. "I don't enter in a relationship if I knew I wouldn't see the guy to be part of my future. Magmamahal ako at papasok sa isang relasyon kapag nakikita ko ang taong 'yon na magiging parte sa buhay ko. Like? That's bullshit, Giovanni. That's for just a fucking fling."

Akmang aalis na ako nang magsalita siya muli.

"I love... you."

Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya. Tumingin ako sa kanya at nakitang naninibago rin siya sa sinabi niya.

I scoffed. "You love me? Fuck that."

"I know this is new to me... and I fucking don't know when did it start. I just knew I like you the moment I saw you in the airport."

New? He's been in a relationship before! He has Alona!

I gritted my teeth. "And you think you can fool me?" I mockingly smirked. "You can't, Giovanni."

"Why do you think I requested dad to let me stay here?"

Napapatingin ako sa kanya. Naroon ang pagsusumamo sa mga mata niya na pakinggan ko siya.
