We fixed our relationship. I gave him a second chance. He was pursuing me everyday--- courting me. He was as always persistent, not backing out. And I was convinced at that. Him, pursuing me every single day, is already a sign of persistency and genuine love.

"Giovanni!" mahinang panininghal ko nang biglaan niya akong yakapin mula sa likuran.

He chuckled. "What? It's not like we've never done this before."

I irritatedly hissed. "What if someone will enter the kitchen?"

"What's wrong with someone seeing us like this? All of the people here know about us."

Napapairap lang ako sa ere.

He chuckled. "Fine. If you're really not comfortable with someone seeing us like this, I'll let go. I'll wait until you'll be comfortable..." He trailed off as he chuckled. "No, let me correct it. I'll wait until you'll beg for my hugs and kisses, Aaliyah."

I hissed as I sneered.

He groaned. "Nah. You can't just react like that, baby. I'll really make sure you'll fall hard on me that you'll beg for my atttention. I am so sure of that, baby."

Giovanni was currently flirting with me when someone enters the kitchen.

"Manang---"

Kaagad kong tinapik si Giovanni dahilan para mapalayo siya sa akin ng kaunti. Sinamaan ko ng tingin si Giovanni bago tiningnan si Mrs. Silvestre at nahihiyang napapangiti.

Bahagyang namula ang pisnge ko nang marinig ang mahinang pagtawa ni Mrs. Silvestre sa amin. "No need to be shy, hija. You two can flirt anywhere, but Giovanni..." She looked at her adoptive son. "Don't flirt with her that much. Aaliyah might be uncomfortable with it."

Mahina akong napapamura. Napapangisi naman si Giovanni bago ipinulupot ang braso sa baywang ko, kahit sa harapan ng ina niya.

"Giovanni..." mahinang panininghal ko sa kanya.

The side of his lips rose up. "What?"

Napapairap ako. "'Wag kang tumabi sa amin mamaya."

Agaran siyang napapalayo sa akin, napapanganga. "W-What?"

I heard someone chuckled. "See? I told you don't flirt with her that much. We, girls, would blackmail an asshole guys whenever we're irritated."

"A-Asshole... What Mom?"

Mrs. Silvestre just chuckled before looking at me. "Send me a slice of cake, hija."

"Yes po."

She smiled at me. "Starting from now, call me Mom." She looked at Giovanni. "Once you two will get married, you'll be part of the family, hija."

I already sent a slice of cake to Mrs. Silvestre's study room. I am now here at the pool, looking for the li'l trio. Napangiti ako nang makitang nakikipaglaro sila sa mga Silvestres.

"Mommy!"

Ngumiti lang ako kay Lai nang tawagin niya ako. Nagtaka ako nang makitang tumingin siya sa may likuran ko.

"Tito Clive!"

Kaagad na umusbong ang kaba sa dibdib ko. Sa lahat ng mga Silvestres ay siya lang ang nanatiling galit sa akin. He's still mad at me.

Nang lumingon ako sa likuran ko ay nakita ko nga si Clive. He's already staring at me when I looked at him. Napapaiwas ako ng tingin. Alam kong ayaw niya pa akong kausapin.
