I witnessed how happy Giovanni was. Kahit na may kaunti siyang inis o kaya ay pagtatampo kanina ay biglaang nawala, just by calling him Dad. Nothing could really beats the power of being a father. Of being the pillar of the family.

"What else do my li'l trio want? Just tell me and I'll give it to you."

I scoffed.

I know he's just trying himself to give them the best--- his all for them. But it's not good to just spoil them on all things. It would bring no good for them.

"You can give them what they want but don't give them all--- the things they wanted. Don't spoil them too much."

Giovanni looked at me. "I was just doing this to fulfill those years that I was an asshole, not knowing that they exist. Babawi ako, Aaliyah."

"It's alright, Dad. Mommy already told us about the past. I know... it's not your intention to leave us behind."

Napalingon ako sa tumawag sa pangalan ko. I gasped when I saw Gia, one of my classmates before.

"Gia." I smiled a little, giving her some respect. She's been good to me, just like what Alona treated me before. It's just that she didn't have the chance to mingle with me.

"And oh, by the way..." She trailed off as she looked for something in her bag. Jusy then, she stopped. "Oh, I forgot. You're a Silvestre and you Aaliyah... will be turning into a Silvestre soon." She chuckled.

"I was about to invite you two for the upcoming Homecoming and then I just realized, before I could know, alam kong alam mo na 'yon, Giovanni."

I saw how Giovanni's lips stretched for a smile. "Yeah."

"So..." She looked at us, smiling. "I would be expecting you two in that event. I would like to surprise our batch... the whole Whitehaven University graduates I mean, to see you two being back together. Lalo na kapag nalaman nilang may anak na kayo. Alam kong magugulat ang mga 'yon, Aaliyah."

I smiled awkwardly.

Giovanni faked a cough. "Gia, can you keep this a secret? I want her to introduce us when she's ready."

Gia smiled. "Of course. I would love to keep it a secret." She fixed her bag. "So... I'll go now. I hope to see you two this Saturday."

Gia's invitation kept on invading my mind. I kept on thinking about those things.
