"Oh, Deeks! You have to see this! Isn't it cute!" said Kensi, as she held up a pink dress with a glitter heart on it. "Um, yes very. But Kensi we don't even know what gender the baby is yet,". Kensi stopped in her tracks. "It's a girl, I can feel it,"
"Sorry Kensalina, but I doubt you can feel his or hers gender," Kensi turned and looked at Deeks. "Are you doubting my instincts of my own child?!" Deeks panicked: "Ummm, no, of course not darling!" He tried to kiss her. She pushed him away, and walked out of the shop.
"I'm sorry sugarbear!" Deeks told at her, as he finally caught up with her at the parking lot. "I'm sorry, okay?! I didn't mean to hurt your feelings," Deeks tried, but the brunette just pouted and looked away. "Sweetie?"
"No, Deeks!". "Too bad, I was going to buy some ice creams and maybe even a twinkle for my Fern." Deeks said as he slowly walked towards entrance to the mall. "Ok, fine! But I'm still not talking to you," said Kensi a she caught up with Deeks, but she was still not looking at him.
"So would you like vanilla or chocolate?" Deeks and Kensi as they reached the ice cream shop. "Or maybe you would like a kiss?"
"Just chocolate please," Kensi said dryly. "Oh, come on Fern! I apologized, I kissed you and I bought you a ice cream! What more could I do?" Asked the blonde haired detective. "Well, there is something," said Kensi as a sly smile spread across her face. "You have to tell the team about our little one. Don't worry I'll be there as your backup," she said. "If it makes you happy." Deeks said as he swallowed hard. They were going to kill him, if not worse.
