Everything was bright. Pure light. Filling anything and everything. But it weren't hot like the sun on your face. It was nothing but blinding. Like the sun but without the best parts of it. It felt scary yet so comforting. The way it hugged every curve of your body. Like it was swallowing you whole. He weren't curious about it or why he was there. It seemed like all questions had been answered. Like he weren't physically there. Like it was how everything ended. Like it was meant to be. Yet his mind kept trying to flee it.
He felt like he could just lay down and end it all, but his heart told him not to. He was scared what would happen if he did. Would he find peace? Happiness? Would it assuage his pain? Grief? Would it scare away his inner demons?
The burning light seemed to be getting brighter and brighter. But it was slowly getting colder.
He didn't want to here. He wanted to go back. He didn't know where 'back' was, but he felt like it was where he belonged. Where he was meant to be. Not in this endless bright, burning, glowing, sharp lighting.
No he thought. No I won't stay. This is not where I belong. I belong with her. He didn't remember what her name was but he remembered her mismatched hazel eyes. Hazel, hazel, hazel. They were panted in the back of his head. He thought. Her sparkling eyes, her bright smile. The only thing that could warm his heart. Her long wavy locks, her glowing tanned skin, that matched her amazing hazel eyes. What was her name? It seemed like he was so close to remembering, but he just couldn't. Her horrible but cute laugh. Her soft red lips. Her hazel eyes staring longingly at him. Everything about her. He wanted her. He needed her. He needed to go back. Back to... To... He still didn't remember her name. But he knew that without her life weren't worth living. He loved her. He loved Kensi Marie Blye.
Suddenly all the light disappeared. He was going back. Back to his everything. Back to his hazel eyes.
