HINDI AKO NAGSASALITA O kumikibo sa aking p'westo. I watch Izzy cling on Levi's muscled arm while they're doing something in front of the stove.

I'm sitting on one of the stool on the island counter. I rest my elbows on the counter. I can hear Izzy's giggle from where I am.

"Mommy join us, come here," I was pulled out of my trance when I heard Izzy called me. She's curling fingers at me, inviting me to come.

Napalingon ako kay Levi. He's looking at me, or more on glaring. I mentally rolled my eyes at him before moving my way to them. Lumapit ako sa kanila at nakita ang niluluto nilang pancakes.

Izzy loves pancakes so much. Hindi na ako magtataka kung alam na ni Levi 'yon. Izzy likes sharing everything to people when it comes to her favorites.

"What syrup do you like mommy? Vanilla or chocolate?" Magiliw na tanong ni Izzy sa akin.

"I think, your mommy loves my syrup." I glared at him, I don't want my daughter to hear his naughty jokes.

Tumingin naman akonkay Izzy.
"Anything, baby." I answered her with a smile.

"You should try chocolate mommy since you drink so much coffee." Izzy wiggles her feet and tries to loosen Levi's grip. Binaba nito si Izzy at hinayaan na kumuha ng plato at kung ano pang kubyertos.

I felt Levi stare at me. I look up to him and I was right he's staring at me.

"What?" Masungit kong puna sa kaniya.

"Nothing, Izzy right, you should try chocolate or you want to try mine?." May ngisi sa labi nito bago ako nilampasan. My forehead creased. Baliw na talaga siya.

Bumalik ako sa aking kinauupuan at pinanood na lang ang dalawa. Izzy keeps giving order to Levi, which he follow right away. Napangisi naman ako. Levi don't like taking orders from anyone, kahit ako ay hindi niya sinusunod, but now watching him struggle while following izzy I felt something filled my heart.

Kita ko sa mukha ni Levi na nag-e-enjoy siya sa ginagawa niya. There's this amusement dancing in his eyes every time he looks at Izzy. Maybe he can feel it, he can feel that there's something between Izzy and him. It's just a matter of time until he recognizes Izzy as his daughter.

Siguro ay tama na ang pagtatago sa kaniya. There's more personal problems than running away from him. Ang iniisip ko ay si Izzy, paano ko sa kaniya sasabihin ang totoo. Alam ko na magagalit siya kapag nalaman niya na tinago ko siya sa totoo niyang ama. Maybe I deserve her anger, no, I deserve her anger when that time comes.

"Mommy, let's eat!" Binaba ni Levi ang plato sa harap ko na may laman na tatlong piraso ng pancake at chocolate syrup sa ibabaw.

Levi carry Izzy and let her sit on his lap while she enjoy her food. Napansin ko na medyo dumidilim na sa labas, ilang oras ba ako nakatulog?

I start eating my food while Izzy keeps telling Levi's story.

"My dad passed away before I know it. But I know he's in a good place," nabulunan ako dahil sa aking narinig. I quickly jug the water beside me.

"Izzy," saway ko kay Izzy. She pout her lips and began eating her pancakes.

Bumaling ang tingin ko kay Levi. Salubong ang kilay niya habang nakatingin sa akin. I quickly avoid his gaze.

Matapos namin kumain ay umakyat kami ni Izzy sa taas. Levi gave us a room of our own and Izzy loves it.

Binigay sa akin ni Levi ang mga paper bag na dala niya kanina. Ang laman ng mga 'yon ay damit namin ni Izzy, bago pa at may mga tag.
