"Mother!" Rieka declared through an exasperated breath as they walked. "Seven hells. Bran- Tyrion didn't try to hurt Bran. Why would he do that?"
"Because I spoke to petyr and found out whos blade it belonged to!" Catelyn spat.
"Blade?" Rieka countered.
"Someone attacked Bran in his sleep." Catelyn spat. "An assassin with a lannister blade. Tyrions blade!"
"Okay, one... You have said for years that petyr is a sketchy shady weasel for years!" Rieka corrected. "Two, What has tyrion done that is untrusting?"
"Hes a lannister -"
"And he treated me with respect and kindness since we left for the wall with jon and uncle benjen." Rieka corrected. Tyrions head turned between them listening through the hood over his head. "Mother let tyrion go and we can forget about all this."
"I cant. Come on rieka."
"Remove his hood." Catelyn barked.
"On that eve, the captive Imp down-wards from his horse did limp, no more would he preen and primp, in garb of red and gold." One of her men were singing.
" This isn't the Kingsroad. You said we were riding for Winterfell." Tyrion remarked.
"I did... often and loudly." Catelyn agreed. Rieka rolled her eyes.
"Very wise. They'll be out in droves, looking for me in the wrong place." Tyrion agreed he looked to Rieka for help but she couldnt look at him. She believed he was innocent but what was she supposed to do? Go against her mother? Maybe.
"Word's probably gotten to my father by now. He'll be offering a handsome reward. Everyone knows a Lannister always pays his debts. Would you be so good as to untie me?" Tyrion held his bound hands up to the nearest man. "No? Come on..." Tyrion coed. He looked to RIeka nudging her, he waggled his eyebrows and got her to smile but Catelyn pulled her forward.
"And why would I do that?" Catelyn countered.
"Why not? Am I going to run? The hill tribes would kill me for my boots. Unless a Shadowcat ate me first." Tyrion pondered.
"Shadowcats and hill tribes are the least of your concerns." Catelyn sneered.
"I dont know those hill tribes are said to be ferocious." Rieka countered.
"Ah... the Eastern Road. We're going to The Vale. You're taking me to your sister's to answer for my imagined crimes. Tell me, Lady Stark. When was the last time you saw your sister?" Tyrion questioned.
"Looney aunt Lysa?" Rieka questioned. "You have lost your wits without father." She realized.
"It has been Five years ago." Catelyn admitted softly.
"She's changed. She was always a bit touched, but now... you might as well kill me here." Tyrion declared.
"I am not a murderer, Lannister." Catelyn hissed.
"Neither am I!" Tyrion agreed. He puffed out a breath. "I had nothing to do with the attempt on your son's life!"
"The dagger found-"
"What sort of imbecile arms an assassin with his own blade?" Tyrion countered sharply.
"He's right mother, you were lied to! I believe Tyrion!" RIeka declared.
"Should I gag him?" Rodrick pondered.
"NO!" RIeka shouted.
"Why? Am I starting to make sense?" Tyrion countered.
"My Lady, this way." Rodrick offered but they were quickly ambushed.
A rock slammed into one of Catelyn's men, a hill tribe began to attack. Rodrik moved Catelyn and RIeka behind a rock, out of harms way. The men, mainly Bronn began successfully defending against the tribe.
"No Rieka," Catelyn demanded as she got up.
"I can help! I am not one to cower in the corner. This is why you should have let Arya train." Rieka declared. Tyrion saw Catelyn pull out a small dagger, he ran over to her silently begging her to cut him free. She looked around at the men attacking.
" Untie me. If I die, what's the point?" Tyrion begged and Rieka grabbed the blade cut him free.
Tyrion, now loose, ran over and picked up a shield. He fended off an attack as another of Lady Stark's men killed him. Rieka was having too much fun stabbing at the men with her blade Catelyn decided. Three stabs to the neck had men dropping quickly.
Another tribesman was nearing Catelyn, Tyrion rushed over with his shield, knocked him to the ground and began slamming it into his throat, directly in front of, and in defense of Catelyn. Tyrion looked back seeing Rieka with one of the men's axes she spun it around like she was meant to be a warrior.
Catelyn stared at him wide eyed as the battle came to a mainly successful end yet still many of their men were defeated.
"Rieka!" Catelyn demanded pulling herself up.
"I like this," Rieka decided.
"Your arm!" Catelyn shouted. With the adrenaline running through her she didnt even notice that she got a nasty cut on her arm.
"I'm fine" Rieka assured but she touched it and her face cringed at the pain.
"And Rodrik?" Catelyn questioned looking around.
"I'll be fine, my Lady. There's no need to bloody yourself." Rodrick assured as he got up.
"Your first?" Bronn questioned nodding to the dead man. Tyrion nodded letting out a sigh. "You need a woman. Nothing like a woman after a fight."
Tyrion locked eyes on Rieka.
"I'm willing if Rieka is." Tyrion agreed.
"I'm keeping this." Rieka remarked propping the axe on her shoulder, "never know when I might need to pop some heads off."
