Tywin sat at his desk while Tyrion sat across from him, the hand of the King no more.

'The badge looks good on you,' he told his father 'almost as good as it looked on me. Are you enjoying your new position?'

'Am I enjoying it?' tywin questioned.

'I was very happy.' Tyrion reminded him.

'Yes I know how happy you were you brought a whore into my bed.' Tywin snapped.

'It wasn't your bed at the time.' Tyrion reminded him. "And I actually didnt, I just brought her with from the camps. It was a mistake but she's gone." Tyrion assured.

''I sent you here to advise the king I gave you real power and authority. You chose to spend your days as you always have bedding harlots and drinking with thieves.' Tywin declared thoroughly annoyed.

'Occasionally I drink with the harlots.' Tyrion teased.

'What do you want Tyrion?' Tywin questioned as he poured wax on his scroll sealing it closed with the hand of the King stamp.

'Why does everyone always assume I want something?' Tyrion questioned, 'cant I simply visit with my beloved father. My beloved father who somehow forgot to visit his wounded son after he fell in the battlefield....'

'Master pycelle assured me your wounds were not fatal.' Tywin told him.

'I nearly got my head chopped in half!' Tyrion reminded him. 'you didn't think to check for yourself?'

'yes, nearly.' Tywin agreed. 'Unfortunately Stannis's men were not more skilled.' Tywin sneered. Tyrion scoffed not believing his ears.

'I organized the defense of the city while you were caught in the ruins of harrenhal. I led the armies when the enemies were at the gate while your grandson, the king quivered in fear behind the walls. I bled in the mud for our family and as my reward I was trundled off to some doctor but what do I want? A little bloody gratitude would be a start!' Tyrion declared.

'Jugglers and singers require applause you are a Lannister. Do you think I demanded a garland of roses every time I suffered a wound on the battlefield?' tywin asked with a deep sigh of annoyance. 'Now I have seven kingdoms to look after and three of them are in an open rebellion so tell me what you want?'

'I want lots of things,' Tyrion admitted.

"What do you think of Margaery?" Cersei questioned.

"I havent really met her." Rieka countered.

"I dont like her, she knows what she is doing and its annoying." cersei hissed.

"Compared to sansa who didnt know what she was doing and was just in love." Rieka agreed. Cersei gave a stiff nod. "Thank you for ending that union."

"She won't be joffrey's plaything." Cersei remarked.

"You can promise that?"  Rieka countered.

"I can promise you that Joffrey and the guards will not touch her as long as she stays a good little dove." Cersei agreed.

"She will." Rieka agreed. "Thank you."

"Tis my... relationship with you that reminded me that I would do anything for my brother and... you are trying to protect your sister... least I can do for a friend." Cersei offered.

"Thank you, Friend."

'Your Grace,' Margaery said as they were waiting for the King's arrival. Loras was there as well, waiting patiently.

'Sit sit I do apologize,' Joffrey told them 'my lady a small council meetings at what point does it become treason to waste the kings time.' Joffrey remarked sitting down Margaery kept a smile on her face. 'That's a lovely down my lady.' Joffrey told her happily raking his eyes over her, looking at the thin fabric, no sleeves, deep cut on her neck.

'Yes it suits you perfectly.' Cersei said 'I imagine you might be rather cold.' Rieka would be a better daughter in law, they got along, she didnt want to have to deal with Margaery.

'The climate is a bit more forgiving back in high garden your grace.' Margaery told them.

'Should I have them bring you a shawl my lady?' Joffrey questioned, what was this, Joffrey being kind? Cersei wanted to scoff but she was a grown up and pushed it down.

'I'm touched by your concern your grace but luckily for us Tyrells our blood runs quite warm doesn't it brother?" she questioned looking to her brother stood like statues waiting to be invited to sit.

'Yes.' Loras agreed simply.

'Loras isn't the queens gown magnificent,' Margaery went on 'the fabric the embroidery the metal work I've never seen anything like it.'

'I find a bit of armor quite useful once you become queen... perhaps before. Joffrey tells me you stopped your carriage in flea bottom on your way back from the sept.' Cersei recalled.

'Yes,' Margaery agreed 'I paid a visit to an orphanage the high septon told me about.'

'Margaery does a great deal of work with the poor back in high garden.' Loras added.

'The lowest of the lowest or no different from the highest if you give them a chance,' Margaery told them 'and approach them with an open heart.'

'An open heart is what you're getting flea bottom if you're not careful my dear.' Cersei told them, 'not long ago we were attacked by a mob there we had a full complement of guards and it did not stop them. The king barely escaped with his life-'

'My mother has always had a penchant for drama,' Joffrey said nonchalantly. 'The truth becomes less and less important to her as she grows older. Our lives were never truly in any danger.'

'You're right of course you are your fathers son,' Cersei said bitterly, but she forced a smile.

'We can't all have a Kings bravery.' Margaery remarked and the siblings shared a look of knowing. 'Hunger turns men into beasts I'm glad house Tyrell has been able to help in these regards.' Margaery went on. 'they tell me 100 wagons arrive daily from the Reech, wheat barley apples we've had a blessed harvest and of course it's our duty to assist the capital in a time of need.'

'Well as Ser Loras, said Lady Margaery has done this sort of... charitable work before,' Joffrey said 'I'm sure she knows what she's doing.'

'I'm sure she does.' Cersei agreed.
