"All right all right let's go to bed", you spoke to your 2 year old daughter who was throwing a tantrum.

Times like this gets hard for you when you can't calm her down. The two of you would end up panicking if one of you don't control this situation.

You just needed a break.

You didn't want to stress your husband while he was in a meeting, so to have some peace, you gave your daughter her bottle and brought her to the room.

She hugged her bottle while still sniffling on you. Possibly leaving tear stains but you couldn't be bothered right now.

Tucking her in the middle of the large king sized bed while she hugs her water bottle. Bringing the thin yellow blanket up to her shoulders. She peaked her arms out of the blanket as you let her fall asleep on her own.

It didn't take her long to fall asleep as your husband entered the room seeing his two girls on the bed. He loosened the tie he wore to the meeting and unbuttoning the top buttons of his top. You got off the bed to help him remove the tie.

"You okay?" You nodded in response
"What happened love"
"She threw a tantrum. I just put her to bed. She's sleeping now, was probably just tired", you replied him throwing the tie in the near by laundry basket.

"I may be in the most important meeting in my whole buisness career. But know if you ever need me for anything, just enter my office and let me know. Or give me a call. I put the two of you in front of anything in the world". He spoke. Leaving a light kiss on the top of your head.

"Might wanna remove the water bottle from her before it leaks on the bed" he broke the silence. You turned back looking at the tilted water bottle in her arms. "Good idea", you tried to pry the water bottle off her arms but her eyes opened showing grabby arms for it back. Deciding not to fight with her you just gave it back.

After taking a quick bath with your husband as your daughter was asleep. (baby monitor in the bathroom with you ofc + there's was no funny business in the bath room !!!!)

You tried again to remove the bottle but her eyes opened again pouting as she wanted her bottle back. Figuring that she probably just wants something to hug you gave her her penguin doll. She sniffed it and cuddled it back to bed.
