you let your dog meet your baby | JJK

You two were not sure if bringing a baby into the house was safe or not, but with the trust you two had with Gureum. You two maybe a bit uneasy but were willing to get the two used to each other.

Gureum wasn't a very rough dog but was rather active. So as you were in the hospital, Jungkook gave gureum a cloth to let him smell it, getting used to the smell of his sister that would be home soon. Gureum was quite rough with it at first, but got used to it quickly.

On the day you two arrived home. The baby gate was there to limit gureums' space and your daughters. Your parents were at your house too to meet their next generation.

"Ah, y/n, jungkook ah", your mother said as the two of you walked through the door, areum in a bunny onesie in the car seat. Gureum on the other hand was excited. Trying to go through the baby gate. Opening the gate. You two went into the room, putting her into your parents arms.

"Ah, she's so small", your dad sat patting her head. Gureum jumped up. he Wanted take a look. So your mother sat down as gureum got a glance at his sister. Knowing that he had to be careful, he sat beside your mother on the couch in her room. Sitting down there and being quiet.

Placing your child on the map placed on the floor, she shuffled around with her eyes closed. Gureum went down to her which made you panic abit. he laid down on his back like she did. Moving his front legs around. "Careful gureum," jungkook said.

Gureum made sure his paws didn't touch areum and went too close to her. "Gureumie, you like her?" you asked, bending down to his laid back body. "he stood up and barked in response. Startling your daughter, she started wailing. Jungkook quickly picked her up. Soothing her tiny figure. "Gureum ah, you can't bark too loud nowadays okay?

Your sister is really sensitive now hm?" you said as he placed his front paw on your knee. "Oh, my good boy", you said as you walked to the kitchen where he followed you.

Seeing you fill his food and water bowl where he ate so that you could spend time with your family for a while. Hoping that the bond of the young two would grow to be a friendly sibling relationship.

2 months later...
Your daughter sleeps between you and your husband these days in case she cries. Gureum, would always use to have an early morning walk but ever since your daughter came home. Everything changed.

Everything was delayed for him. But he never gave up in being affectionate. "Gureum ah", you said as he would join you on your side of the bed. He still would keep a distance from areum. "You wanna go for a walk?" you asked as he nodded. "Okay, after I feed areum okay? We can go out together. Hm?" you said as he got off the bed.

You turned around and kissed your daughter's forehead. Leaving the room to the kitchen. Bringing a bag of dog food to gureums bowl and filling it up. He ate quietly like before. "ahhh", your daughter sighed loudly as you were about to sit on the sofa.

You entered the room to see your husband still asleep as your daughter looked at you with her big bambi eyes. She breathed loudly, as if she was scared, so you picked her up and pulled her close to your chest.

She then had her hands on your breast. Feeling that she might be hungry. You left the room and sat down in the nursery, breastfeeding your little girl. "Princess?" you heard a raspy voice say as your husband entered the nursery.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't help", he said as she rubbed his eyes. Kissing his daughter's head as she still faced your chest. "It's okay love, I know you're busy with work", you said as he sat on the floor beside you. Leaning against the wall.

Then gureum came in. "hey gureum", jungkook said as gureum walked into his legs. He barked softly. Signalling that it's time for a walk. "Okay, walk after areum is done okay? She's really slow", he said. Whispering the last part.

You chuckled at them. I guess gureum will let us delay his walk, you thought to yourself. Patting your daughters back so that she can drink a bit faster.

1 hour later
All of you were dressed up and ready to go. Jungkook set up the stroller and you set a leash on gureums neck, making sure it's not too tight. Leaving home for a nice walk. Allowing gureum to meet other dogs, feeling free as you took off his leash. Letting him runaround with the other dogs.
