"come on love", you carried her little figure to the play room where she had a shelf of colourful books. "what should we read today?" you asked after placing her down.  she slowly stood up before waddling to her book shelf point to a random one as you took it out of her. she sat directly opposite of you.

you opened the book and read it to her word my word. pointing out the little characters and what they were doing. "you see, the dog turned red! he ate the cookie that wasn't for him" seo-a looked at you blankly before as started tearing up.

you were shocked since the book wasn't sad nor contained scary drawings but you just calmed down and told yourself that it was okay. she wasn't giving you a hard time, she was having a hard time. "can i hug you?" she got up and you pulled her close to you as she cried on your shoulder

"it's okay, you can cry" telling yourself that she wasn't misbehaving and that's she's trying to tell you something important. "cry it out darling, it's okay", this probably feels like a really big deal for her and she should calm down. "mamama", she cried as you soothed her by rubbing her back. eventually picking her up and bringing her to the master bedroom where her crib sat.

your husband whom was wearing his head phone took them off and lowered his screen while you walked in with the baby. setting his little table aside he volunteered to carry the little still sniffing figure.

"she cried while we were reading", you spoke sitting by him on the bed as he patted her back. "was the book that sad", he said sarcastically. "no obviously not", you replied. "she probably just wants a break", you added. pushing the bassinet over to his side so that it would be easier to put her in. you then tucked yourself under the sheets and curled yourself up.

"i wanna nap too", he spoke as he joined you under the sheets. wrapping an arm over your waist
