"come on darling, bed time" you picked your daughter up from her changing table nuzzling your nose with her as you placed her in the center of your shared bed.

"bed time!" your husband walked in as the clock striked 9.30 "dada", seo-a spoke as your kid beside her patting her tummy. as jungkook closed the door behind him. turning off the lights but leaving the small night lamp on.

you pat your daughters tummy and she, being 8 months old. started to babble some words to you and her father. you two spoke back to her as if she understood.

she slept pretty well soon before she started crying. you got up to check the clock beside. you. "11.38" you thought she was hungry so you quickly fed her before her cries woke jungkook up.

fortunately she quietly latched on to your breast and started drinking her milk from you. she may be 7 months and at an age where parents would feed through bottles but usually at night you wouldn't have the energy to make milk so you just breastfed her.

"2.57" "wahh! wahh!" seo-a cried extremely loud this time. you and jungkook immediately got up. jungkook quickly picked her up. patting her back to calm her down as you lifted your top up. he passed her over you as you tried to latch her on. you thought she might just want her bottle so jungkook went to make one.

you walked around the bed room patting seo-a's back. trying to stop her from crying. Jungkook came back and dropped some milk on his palms making sure it wasn't too warm for her.

but she also didn't drink it and just pushed it away. your mommy instincts immediately told you something was wrong. you quickly got the thermometer and took seo-as temperature.

she was 38.2 which was a very high temperature for a little girl. she probably feels so uncomfortable now that's why she made such a fuss. "we need to bring her to the doctors, now" you spoke grabbing a few things and placed it in a bag and zipping it up as jungkook got the car.

entering the car, you sat at the back with seo-a. it wasn't a long drive to the clinic. seo-a still made a fuss in her car seat as you tried to play with her and entertain her. you also made a quick reservation on your phone while on the way to the doctors.

the doctor spoke as you lifted up the little top she had on. revealing her tiny back. but unfortunately the metal and coolness shocked seo-a as it touched her back making her cry a bit more.

"it's ok sweets", you spoke to her since she faced you and back faced the doctor. "her heart beat is fine. just some slight flam. warm water will do. but since she's young it might not work. if it doesn't work take this medicine once after every meal"

"but she needs to take a shot to prevent the virus that is potentially in her body from spreading", the doctor spoke. jungkook looker at your daughter, fearing that she might not be able to handle a needle.

"it would be really quick, you can hold on to her, it would be on her thigh", doctor continued as you nodded. "i'll hold her", Jungkook said quickly. "sure", the doctor replies getting the needle ready.

"okay seo-a, it will be really quick okay. it will be done before you know it hm?" Jungkook bit his lower lip nervously. "wait!", jungkook yelled. the doctor looked up at him. "will she be okay?"

"mr jeon, this medication is to prevent the virus from travelling into her body. of course it's safe and okay for her" the doctor replied. as the doctor was about to jab her again, jungkook disturbed them, making another lame excuse for his daughter to delay the jab. "kook, i will hold her", the doctor sighed.

"im sorry, please proceed", the doctor nodded. and he pressed onto the top of the syringe the solution entered seo-as tiny body as she started wailing loudly due to the numbing feeling. "oh love, you did so well!" you spoke as the doctor placed a cute bandaid on the injection area.

"thank you doctor", you spoke as jungkook immediately carried the crying baby trying to soothe her to sleep. "she must be in so much pain, it hurt me to her like that", jungkook spoke while on the way to the registration counter.

"it's what we do if she wants to get better love", you spoke. jungkook sighed. kissing the sleepy babies cheek.

the nurse at the counter then passed the two of you the medicine. "seo-ah, since did so well back there. mama and papa will cuddle you as you sleep alright?" jungkook spoke to seo-a while walking to the car park before driving back home.
