"seo, it's late could you sleep?" you spoke to her but she didn't understand so you walked to turn off the lights but left a night lamp on.

your daughter was in her small bed that had borders on the side that were soft incase she knocks onto them. she had a few toys in there and was playing around with them.

you then decided to just feed her so that she sleeps on a full stomach. "come here darling"

you spoke once more as you aligned the tip of her bottle at her mouth as she drank her milk. playing around with her fingers.

you then burped her and wiped her mouth with a tissue before cradling her in your arms and patting her bum to make her fall asleep easier.

lucky for you she fell asleep. you placed her down in her bed and turned off the night lamp.

pulling the duvet up to your shoulders and fell asleep.

2 hours later ; 12.04 a.m.
"waeeh! waeeeh!" your baby cried as you immediately got up to turn on the night light. looking down at your little girl who was sitting up in her bed showing grabby arms.

"ma", she spoke as she clutched close to you. you then heard your husband unlock the door.

he thought the two of you were asleep as it was late. he slowly creaked the door open as you looked at him.

"hey", he spoke walking over to leave a peck on your lips. "she just woke up again", you continued to pat her back.

but she soon didn't feel the comfort and warmth she wanted and cried again.
