"I'll get the car seats", jungkook says as he leaves the room. bringing the car seat from the car and you two put your babies in them. they were both black seats but had pink and blue toys around so you'd know who's is who's.

you handled the luggage as jungkook had his hands filled with the car seats. not forgetting to thanks your doctors as they wished you farewell.

reaching the car, jungkook placed the car seats in as he helped you put the luggage in the trunk. to be able to watch and tend to your babies you sat in the middle of the car seats at the back.

jungkook of course was understanding to it as you two buckled one baby in each. unfortunately for you baby esme was already getting grouchy. probably waking up from her nap and feeling retrained.

"drive slow and save love", you tell your husband as he buckled himself up. telling you not to worry and that he'll make sure all 4 of you will reach home safely.

baby esme fidgets around in her car seat already feeling needy before she crunches her face and starts crying.

"darling it's okay, it's okay", not wanting to unbuckle her so you pat her tummy, before putting her pacifier back into her mouth which helped her calm down. thankful that her brother didn't wake up from her cries.

reaching home, you unbuckled the babies and jungkook unloaded the luggage. having a hand on a luggage and car seat while you had one hand on liams car seat.

entering the house you placed the car seats at the doorway, picking your babies up, and placing them in their cribs located in their shared bedroom.

their room was white with the usual dresser and crib. above their crib hung their names engraved with wood to locate their cribs.

you put on some soothing music as your husband joined you in the room. "they look so cute and tiny", he mentions, hugging you from the back inhaling your scent. "they're so precious", you say as you admire them.

"my parents are coming over to deliver dinner and see their grandkids if that's okay", jungkook adds on. "yea sure", you turn on your new baby monitor as the two of you head down to unpack.

"love, here's your toiletries, I'll unpack, get some rest okay? I'll call you when my parents reach", he says as you smile at him feeling so lucky that you have a man like him.

"darling, my parents are here, babies are awake too", your husbands sits at the side of the bed caressing your forehead. you give out a big stretch as jungkook helped you get up.

"hi mom hi dad", you greet them as they each held a baby. "there's the baby mama!" she coos excitedly seeing you. "thank you y/n for giving us these treasures. are you feeling okay? have your dinner, then get more rest. i made fish soup to help your postpartum pregnancy", she says excitedly. "thanks mom, but is it okay if i feed the kids first?", you ask as she agrees happily handing you baby esme first.

carrying little esme, you head into the nursery where a little rocking chair was located. letting baby esme nurse on you as you admired her features.

"love i brought food up for you", jungkook enters the food, grabbing a chair to sit beside you, feeding you the soup instead. "my parents are really happy".

"im glad. im happy too. im just so excited to raise them well. make breakfast for them, bring them to school", you continued as jungkook listed attentively.

"I'll burp esme, you can bring liam in" jungkook says picking the baby girl up from your arms. as you were leaving the room your in laws were planning to leave too.

"y/n ah, we won't disturb you four alright, we'll get going first but if there's anything you need feel free to give us a call okay?" she hands you baby liam bidding goodbye to her own son and grandkids as they leave the house.

"i feel so tired i still don't know why. i slept so much today", you say as you feel yourself sink onto the bed. you and jungkook moved the cribs over to your master bedroom so you could tend to the babies when needed.

"you just need more rest then. you birthed two humans, you'll need more than a few days to recover. and I'll be with you the whole way", he kissed your forehead when saying the last part. "we haven't cuddled in so long", you say finally being able to bury your head in his chest now that the baby bump is gone.

"yea, no more baby bump to stop us", he chuckles.

soon enough the new parents would be tending to their two crying babies. but it was a start to a new chapter and they wouldn't exchange anything for the life they have now
