your child asks for a sibling

5.57 p.m.
"Let's go then",you said to your husband as the two of you were about to leave the house and pick up your four year old, Aerin. From daycare.

6.14 p.m
"Papa! Mama!", your daughter yelled and ran towards your husband. Who was kneeling beside you with his hands wide open. Seeing his daughter run into his arms as he swung her around. You then went to get her bag and talked to her teacher about her behaviour in school.

Your daughter had never been a bad kid. As an infant, she was rather calm and was a heavy sleeper which was great for you as you and your husband had better sleep compared to parents with fussy babies.

But your husband felt weird. Your daughter was, different? Her behaviour showed that she wanted something but was afraid to ask. She had her mouth opened wide. But when jungkook asked what she wanted, she just said - never mind or nothing.

"Okay, let's go home!", you said brightly as you walked over to the father daughter duo. You saw Aerin whisper something in Jungkooks ear right before you were standing beside them.

"What's the secret?" You said on a teasing tone. But the two just kept quiet. You just chuckled and walked to the car. That's when you also realised something was - fishy.

6.39 p.m.
"Is there something you want to tell me?" You asked the two that were seated in front of you as the three of you got ready for dinner.

But still, nothing, nobody was going to say anything so you just ignored it.

8.49 p.m.
You were getting ready for bed as your husband was in his studio. "Mama", your daughter said as she climbed on your bed. "Yes love?" You said. Stopping what you were doing and giving your attention to your daughter.

"Can I have something?" She asked with her big doe eyes which she definitely got from her dad. "Depends, what is it?" You asked.

"I want a sibling", she said looking down. "All my friends have one to play with. But you and daddy are busy and have no time to play with me". She blurted out.

"You want a sibling huh", you asked. She nodded her head. "I'll talk to papa about it. But first let's brush your teeth and head to bed alright? Having a sibling is a big thing. We will have to talk about it.  It even means. Sharing your toys, colouring books and Mama." You said to her. "I can share! Even if i have to share mama" she replied. "I will think about it" you told her.

She nodded and left the room.

After sitting in your room for some time, you decided to talk to your husband about it. "Koo?" You said quietly as you opened the door slightly.

"Yes love?" Jungkook said as he turned his chair around and placed you on his lap. "Aerin told you didn't she?" He asked. You nodded.

"I was thinking about it too.It's been almost four years. Doesn't hurt to try again." He said. "I won't force you, I know it's a painful process I'll wai-" "I'm ready, I've been thinking about it too" you said. Cutting him off.

"Well love, why not we try it here. It's sound proof anyways ", your husband then changed his tone. As he pushed you on the sofa. Kissing you roughly.
