It's now may, next month we'll be graduating!
Prom is also soon, almost all guys have been asking their girlfriends to prom, all but mine.
I know it'll happen soon, he's a perfectionist.
"Diego asked me to prom last night!" Emma gushes about it.
"Really? That's so exciting!" I said as I pick at my salad.
She nods, "he's so sweet to me, I think he might be the one"
"How do you know?" I question her.
She sighs dreamily, "because I just know! When you know, you know" she says as if it's obvious.
"I thought I once knew, but turns out it was a lie" i said thinking back on Mason.
"Forget about that asshole, you and Ethan are it, he's your soulmate! Ethan would never do that to you" she says
"You think he's my soulmate?" I ask a little smile appearing on my face.
She smiles, "I know he is! He treats you the way you're supposed to be treated!"
I nod, "he does treat me the way I'm supposed to be, I feel so happy and lucky to be with him"
"And I know he feels the same way about you!"

"Has Ethan asked you to prom yet?" Gigi asks as she eats her chocolate bar.
I shake my head, "no not yet, but I know he will soon"
I lay back on Gigi's bed.
"I know he will, and it'll be perfect!" She says.
Before i can respond my phone starts ringing.
"Hello?" I answer it, "hey Aunt jules"
"Hey, I need you to come home right now" she says into the phone.
"Are you okay? Is everything okay?" I ask curiously, she's never called me before especially wanting me home.
"Yeah, everything is fine. I just need you to come home, I have some news"
I nod, "okay, I'll be right there"
We hang up and i look at Gigi, "sorry girl, I gotta go home. I'll call you later though"
She nods, "okay Stells, drive safe"

I go into my house, i close the door.
"Aunt jules! I'm home!" I said out loud.
She doesn't answer though, i walk towards my room.
I open the door, only for darkness to pour out.
"Why is it so dark in here?" I question out loud, as if the silence will answer me back.
I flick the light now, i gasp as I see Ethan standing there with tulips in his hands.
Tulips petals trailing to my bed with a sign 'will you go to prom with me?'
And a basket with my favorite things
"Will you go to prom with me?" Ethan questions as he looks at me with hopeful eyes.
I nod, "oh my god, Yes! Yes Of course!" I said jumping into his arms.
He catches me in time before I fell, he kisses my lips.
In this moment I know
Aunt Jules cheers as we kiss, i pull apart from his kiss to see her recording.
I grin, "I can't believe you did all this for me" i said as I look at basket.
A small teddy bear, my favorite candies, star stickers, my favorite drink and chips.
"I also got you this" he says as he shows me a little ring box in his hand.
He opens it to reveal a star shaped ring.
In this moment I know.
I gasp, "it's so pretty" i say as he pulls it out of the box and slides it onto my middle finger.
"It's a promise ring" he says grinning, "i promise to always love you, care for you, and protect you for all of our forever"
I know, I know, I know
Ethan will be the one, he is the one. I know it, because when you know, you know. And if I didn't before I sure as hell know now.
"Awww" Aunt Jules gushes as she looks at us, "oh, to be young and in love again"
"Someday we'll show our kids this video" i said as I look at Ethan.
"We'll show our six children, this video and our pictures" he says agreeing.
"I can already imagine it" i said smiling slowly as I pictured little mini Stella's and Ethan's
Aunt Jules gasps, "remind me not to leave you two alone tonight" she says ending the video.
Ethan and I laugh at her reaction.
"I'll leave you guys be but with the door open" she says as she leaves the door wide open.
"Ethan, you are the sweetest guy ever, I'm so lucky to have you"
He shakes his head, "No, I'm lucky to have you"
"We're both lucky to have each other"
"I like that, I hope one day you say yes" he says softly
"Yes to what?" I question confused.
"You'll find out when that day comes, but just remember this moment" he says, i nod.
"I think I'll always remember every moment I spend with you" i said honestly
