Chapter 13 - Christmas

y/n's POV
Christmas is in a couple days and I haven't gone shopping. Le is right when she says I wait to do things last minute. My family wants to celebrate Christmas with Leah at least my family in England because nonna and nonno won't be able to travel. Leah's family also wants to spend Christmas with me so it'll be officially the first time I will meet her family besides her mother Amanda who I've visited many times. Le and I decided to spend Christmas Eve with her family then December 26th with my family since I wanted Christmas just to be Le and I. I'm scared to meet Le's father... he seems like a wonderful man I'm just not prepared for the don't hurt my daughter talk. Le and I are driving up to Milton Keynes the night of the 22nd so she can show me around the 23rd. We have a nice dinner on the 24th with her family and I already plan on buying a suit for dinner. I already bought Leah's big gift and I hope to god she likes it... it may or may not be a new flat for the both of us. I just want something a bit larger for the both of us so I hope she says yes to moving in with me. I was thinking about buying a new car for us to share but Beth and Viv said that may have been a bit too much on my part. I really wanted to get the new electric Porsche but I think nonno would've murdered me for that. I have smaller ones obviously like I managed to get Leah some custom Nike Tiempo Legend 10 Elites that are the colors of the England home uniform and it says "My Captain" on the sides. I got the newest release of Re-Inc clothing for her. She also loves those flat caps so I got her one and a little camcorder because she's such a mum.
"Hey baby." Leah says kissing my head before walking around to sit next to me on the couch. "What's on your mind?"
"Just thinking about Christmas shopping." I say.
"I was thinking we could go this afternoon so you can get it all out of the way." She says and I nod.
"What do I even get your family? What do I get my family?! My parents have enough money to get anything..." I say struggling to figure out what they'd even like.
"Make it meaningful princess it's not about the money." She says.
"You're right... I will have to come up with something. My older sister..." I say.
"You have an older sister?" Le says shocked.
"I do, Quinn. Did I forget to tell you? God I'm stupid. Yeah she's 30 successful lawyer. Married to her wife Harper she's a doctor." I say. "They recently moved back to England. They met in the US, they live in Manchester."
"Are you two close?" Le asks.
"We haven't spoken much because she was very fond of Alex. She's extremely protective over me." I say.
"I'm so fucked." Leah says groaning and laying her head in my lap.
"It'll be okay. I don't need her blessing to be in love with you. I make my own life decisions and I choose you Le every time." I say making her smile.
"I love you." She says.
"I love you too bella." I say. "Is now a good time to also mention my older brother Lucas?"
"Brother?" She says.
"Mhm he's going to take over my fathers business. He's 28." I say.
"So you're the baby sister." Le says giggling.
"I am sadly." I say.
"Awwwww." Leah says.
"I'm not a baby." I say putting and crossing my arms.
"That's cute of you to say because you are." Leah says. "You're my baby though. Go do your shopping."
"I'm going to run to the store quickly tesoro and I will be back soon!" I say.
"Okay princess please be safe. I love you." She says.
"I love you too!" I say. I give her a kiss before leaving.

Leah's POV
While y/n is out shopping I call Beth and Viv to come over because I need to make sure y/n will love her gift.

Hey Leah what's up

I'm worried that y/n won't like her gifts

Well what did you get her... you could get her a rock and the girl would be happy

I got her those new Nike cleats the Phantom Luna and got them customized, custom goalie gloves, some new jumpers. I got her a phone case it's a collage of pictures of her and I. Don't tell anyone this... this is her big gift. So I talked to Sarina who's calling us about call ups after Christmas but she said I could tell y/n. So I have a England jersey with her name on the back.
