y/n's POV Ale and I walk into training together. The halls of our facility are quiet but as we near the changing rooms we both hear a ton of chatter. "What's got everyone so excited this morning?" I ask Ale. "No clue..." She says. We walk in hand in hand but Alexia drops my hand immediately when she sees what everyone's excitement is about. "She's back." I say. I look at Alexia trying to read her emotions, she's not shocked if anything she looks a bit guilty. She knew and didn't say anything. I scoff and go straight to my locker and sit down to get ready for today's training.
Alexia's POV Walking into the changing rooms I immediately spot Jenni. I drop y/n's hand and she looks at me before scoffing and walking away from me. I should've just told her that Jenni was resigning. I go to great Jenni since I'm the captain I have to show hospitality. "Hey Jenni... it's good to have you back." I say. "Hola Frozen, I had to come back, you took my top goal scorer spot." Jenni says jokingly. I look into the eyes of my former wife with love and I quickly look away trying not to get caught up in my thoughts and feelings. I go sit down in my cubby next to Patri. "I saw that Ale." Patri says. "You saw nothing pepino." I say. "She called you frozen and your eyes started twinkling. I could see it from here. Caro gave Jenni back the number 10 so she's going to be next to you." Patri says. "Great." I say sarcastically. "I think y/n is upset I didn't tell her that Jenni was signing with Barca." "You told that woman that Jenni broke your heart and then you decided to not tell her that Jenni is signing a contract. Ale that's messed up... y/n isn't the jealous type but she appreciates and values the truth." Patri says. "I know..." I say. "Then don't drag her along for the ride." Patri says. "I'm not dragging her along Patri... I like her a lot, she's my girlfriend." I say.
y/n's POV We ran drills today and I avoided Ale at all costs. I'm currently passing the ball with Paños. "What's up with you and Alexia?" She asks. "Nothing." I say and Sandra looks at me. "Is it Jenni?" She asks and I just look at my boots. "It's Jenni... did she not tell you?" "Did everyone know but me? She didn't tell me. I don't like secrets Sandra." I say. "Not like Alexia to keep secrets." Sandra says. "I'll see if she apologizes... I just don't feel like training with her today." I admit. "I think we're working on striking drills today so mainly the forwards." Sandra says. "Oh just great we're going to be working with Jenni." I say. We both head into goal and I start between the sticks. "Jenni go I want to see if you've gotten better!" Mariona says joking. "I doubt she'll be able to get one past y/nn." Salma says. "I think I will." Jenni says. I get ready for Jenni's shot and I watch her as she shoots. I dive bottom right and stop her shot. "I told you!" Salma says. All the forwards took turns shooting and after half an hour I could tell Jenni was getting visibly frustrated because she hasn't made a single goal on me. On her last go I watch her dribble a little past where they were taking their previous shots. I come off my line and block her shot. However, she followed through and her cleat hit me in the face. Fuck that hurt. I stay on the pitch laying down with my gloves over my face. I watch Jenni walk away, rude. Mariona is the first by my side. I hear a ton of arguing, I hear Keira and Lucy yelling at Jenni. Aitana, Ona and Alexia all come to my side. "Y/nn!" Ale says crouching down next to me. "She kicked me in the fucking face!" I say. "Let me see..." Ale says. I remove my glove from my face and blood is streaming down my cheek and I can barely see out of one eye. "That looks bad." Aita says. "Wow I didn't know." I say sarcastically. "Let's get you to the physio." Ona says. Mariona helps me up and I walk off the pitch with Ona and Alexia. "You did that on purpose!" Keira yells at Jenni. "It was an accident! I wasn't expecting her to dive and come off her line!" Jenni retorts. "You dribbled into the box, that wasn't the drill!" Lucy says. "It's fine." I say. "This is not fine y/nn, you may have a fractured cheekbone!" Alexia says. "Jenni what were you thinking?!" "It's just training." Jenni says. "It is just training so why did you dribble into the box." Mapi says. "She's the one who came off her line! Since when did keepers come off their line during shooting drills in training." Jenni says. "Shit has changed Jenni! Get with it or leave." Mapi says. I head inside to the physio who cleans up the cut and bandages it. "It's very swollen... but it's not fractured just ice it and the swelling will go down. No training until it's fully healed." Says the physio. I decide to wait in the relaxation room until the girls finish training. I decide to post my battle scar from training so the media doesn't think something else happened.

I scroll through tiktok until I hear someone walk in. I look up and see Jenni. "What do you want?" I ask. "I just came to apologize... Ale sent me." She says. "It's fine just don't fucking kick me in the face again." I say. "You know I love her..." Jenni says. "She obviously still loves me just like how you still love Leah." "I don't still love Leah." I lie. "Yeah you do because you still look at her the same way Ale looks at me and I look at Ale." Jenni says. "I will get her back y/n." "That's not up to you to decide." I say. "You just don't go from almost married to nothing. Leah still loves you and you love her. Alexia was my wife and leaving her is my biggest regret." Jenni says leaving me shocked. "You were married?!" I say. "She didn't tell you." Jenni says almost smirking. "No..." I say.
Alexia's POV I walk into the relaxation room to get y/n so we could go home. Jenni walks past me with a smirk. "Hola amor." I say greeting my girlfriend. "You were married to her and you didn't tell me." She says and I freeze at her words. "Who told you that?" I ask. "Who do you think?!" Y/n says. "Yes we were married but she left." I say. "I thought we agreed to not keep any secrets from each other." Y/n says sadly. "I'm sorry." I say. "Sorry is not enough right now." Y/n says. "Are you breaking up with me?" I ask softly. "No just give me space... I'll go spend the night with Lucy and Ona." She says. "What? No come home please." I say. "I will eventually but I can't even look at you right now Ale. I don't like being lied to." She says. "I'm sorry y/n." I say. Y/n gets up and leaves. She walks out without saying bye or giving me a hug or kiss like she always does.
