Chapter 40 - Mistakes

Y/n's POV
"I'm sorry." Leah says. She starts walking closer to me and I stay frozen in place. Her hands rest on my hips and I tense at her touch. They slowly and carefully move up my body until her hands cup my face gently. I look down at her blue eyes and she looks up at me. I can see the pain in her eyes and I feel like I can't breathe. I left so abruptly and I don't know how to feel right now. Before I could react she gently places her lips on mine kissing me softly. I kiss back, everything melted back into place. I push her away.
"Fucking hell Leah!" I say and she just looks at me. I run my hand through my hair.
"That was real." She says. "Just think about coming back. The girls miss you but I miss you the most. I'm sorry, I regret everything but you're my everything. Please come back." She walks away leaving me dumbfounded in the hallway. I kissed her back. What the fuck was I thinking. I punch the wall and groan in pain. I walk quickly to the physio. I grab some ice to ice my hand and sit down on the bench burying my head in my hands. I cry. Did I just fuck up everything. Can you love two people at once. I feel sick to my stomach. I hear the door open and see Lucy.
"Thought I would find you here." Lucy says sitting down next to me.
"What did you hear?" I ask.
"We all heard everything, you two weren't very quiet." Lucy says making me groan. I rest the ice pack on my hand.
"She kissed me." I say. "She said she still loves me and wants me back. She wants another chance."
"Are you going to tell Alexia about the kiss?" Lucy asks and I let out a sigh.
"Yea... I rather her find out from me than someone else." I admit. "I fucked up Luce, I kissed back."
"Do you still love her?" Lucy asks.
"Part of me always will." I say.
"Be honest with Alexia, that woman has gone through a lot with Jenni." Lucy says.
"I made a mistake kissing Leah." I say. "I'm such a fucking idiot."
"Go call Alexia, before she finds out from someone else." Lucy says and I nod. I leave the physio and walk to my room. I sit down on the edge of my bed and Facetime Alexia. She picks up immediately.
"Hola mi vida." She says with a smile on her face but it quickly disappears when she sees my eyes red from all the crying.
"Y/nn what happened?" She asks.
"I fucked up. I want to tell you before you hear it from someone else." I say. "Leah kissed me and said she still loves me and wants another chance."
Alexia stays silent for a bit.
"Did you kiss back?" She asks quietly.
"I did but I pushed her off of me." I say guilty.
"Do you love her?" She asks.
"Part of me always will." I say.
"What did you say?" She asks.
"I said don't ruin my happiness because I'm happy with you Ale. Barca is my home now." I say.
"I need some time... I'm mad right now but I forgive you. She kissed you first." She says.
"I'll make it up to you when I get back home. I really do like you Ale." I say.
"I wish you didn't kiss her back..." She says softly.
"I don't know why I did, I'm sorry for hurting you Ale." I say.
"Thank you for being honest with me. Just come home soon okay?" She says.
"I will." I say. "We have a date to go on."
"Si, we do." She says with a small smile which makes me smile.
"Can you stay on Facetime til I fall asleep?" I ask shyly.
"Of course mi amor." She says.

Leah's POV
After I left y/n I rush to my room. I close the door quickly as I begin to cry again.
"Leah what's wrong?" Keira asks.
"You heard the conversation right?" I ask and she nods.
"I officially lost her." I say. "I kissed her and ruined her happiness."
"You what?" Keira says shocked.
"I kissed her... she kissed me back before pushing me off." I say.
"You've made a mistake." Keira says.
"I know." I say burying my head in my hands. "I love her."
"I know you do Le but it might be too late." Kei says.
"Should I give up? Should I let her go?" I ask quietly.
"I think you should... she's really happy with Ale." Kei says and my heart clenches at Alexia's name.
"I have hope. One day, maybe in a different universe y/n and I are happily together." I say.
"Right person wrong time." Kei says.
"Fuck I miss her so much it hurts." I say crying.
"She fell first but you fell harder." Kei says.
"I really did." I say.

Alexia's POV
I am on Facetime with y/nn and she quickly falls asleep. I listen to her soft little snores for a bit before hanging up the phone and leaving my room for some fresh air.
"Fuck." I say quietly.
"Ale?" I hear someone say and turn around and see Jenni.
"What do you want Jenni?" I ask.
"You're crying. I just wanted to make sure you're okay." She says.
"You're the last person I want to talk to right now. You left me not once but twice. You up and left to PSG then came back and left again to go to Mexico. Barca was the dream and it was supposed to be forever." I say.
"I'm sorry for leaving... I could take all the hate." Jenni says.
"You could've just talked to me." I say softly.
"And I should've. Before we dated Ale we were best friends. What happened?" She asks.
"Leah kissed y/n and she kissed back." I say. "I'm upset because I liked her a lot."
"Oh..." Jenni says.
"I forgave her." I say.
"Why? She kissed Leah back." Jenni says confused.
"I don't want to be alone anymore and I really like her." I admit.
"If I came back would we get back together?" Jenni asks.
"I don't know maybe Jenni. You hurt me." I say.
"One more chance Alexia, please." She pleads.
"Let me be happy with her." I say.
"I know you still love me deep down. I'll wait for you." Jenni says before walking away leaving me outside.
I walk back to my room and sigh. Is Jenni right? Do I still love her? Why did I say maybe? I should've said no. Did I just give her hope of getting back together? What the hell did I just do?
