y/n's POV I decided to take Leah out for a dinner date tonight she deserves it after what's happened in the past month. We're currently cuddled on the couch watching Harry Potter. "Bubba let's go out on a date tonight." I say looking into her eyes. "Okay princess how should I dress?" She says. "Uh dress nice but comfortable... you look amazing in anything bella." I say. We both go get ready and I'm waiting for Leah in our living room. I opted for a striped button up shirt with the sleeves rolled and some dress pants with dunks. Leah enters my field of vision looking amazing in just a simple white cropped tank top and blue jeans. "You look beautiful." I say giving her a short yet sweet kiss. "Thank you babe. You look handsome." She says making me blush. "Are you going to tell me our plans for tonight?" She asks curiously. I really wanted to surprise her but I couldn't help myself because we've been talking about going for a bit. "We're going ax throwing with some of the girls and then I'm taking us to my father's restaurant in London." I say. "Sounds lovely!" She says making me smile. We meet some of the Arsenal girls at the ax throwing place. Katie, Wally, Beth, Viv, Manu, Jen, Laura and Rafa are all here. "Katie! Y/n please be safe!" Wally says as Katie and I grab the axes. "Yes mum." Katie and I both grumble. If we learned anything tonight it's Katie is a walking hazard. The ax bounced off the wall and back to Katie. Leah is too good at this... we found something I'm not great at. "That was so much fun!" Le says to me as I am driving us to my fathers restaurant. "It was fun because you were good at it." I mumble quietly. "What was that y/n?" She says with some attitude. "Nothing bella, I'm glad you had a lovely time. Katie did almost kill us though." I say. "Mhm whatever you say honey." She says. "We should play paintball." I say knowing it's something I'm good at. "Maybe for your birthday." She says. "But that's far away." I say frowning. "Patience young one." Le says laughing. "Oh fuck you." I say only making her laugh harder causing me to start laughing too. We happily sing karaoke until we arrive at my father's restaurant, my father is here tonight and already set up a table for Le and I. I walk in and see my father. "Father!" I say and he gives me a big hug. "My baby y/n." He says. "Not a kid anymore dad." I say. "You'll always be my kid." He says.
Leah's POV I've met y/n's father before but never have I failed to see the resemblance. They share the same stature and y/n has her fathers build. She's very muscular, toned and lean all at once. She's like the perfect type of muscular while not being too muscular. "Leah it's nice to see you again." Her father says pulling me into a hug. "Good evening Mr. Y/n thank you for dinner tonight." I say. "Oh it's not a problem and it's y/fn" he says. "Come I'll take you to your table." "I'll be right back I'm going to the bathroom." Y/n says leaving me with her father. He guides me to the table in silence. We get to the corner table that's secluded and overlooking the city. "I hope this is a good spot." He says chuckling. "It's beautiful." I say. "This is where she'd spend her time thinking or doing work." He says and I smile thinking about my girlfriend. "She loves you." He says. "I love her too." I say. "I've never seen my little girl this in love. Please don't hurt her and break her heart. I can see it in her eyes Leah she wants to spend the rest of her life with you." He says. "I want to spend the rest of my life with her too." I say truthfully. "I want to grow old with her and raise a family with her. I want everything with her." I say. "She wants the same even if she doesn't want to admit it now. Don't let her be hesitant sometimes you got to tell her straight up or she's oblivious. My daughter is so smart yet so stupid at the same time." He says jokingly. "Not a thought behind those eyes." I say and we both laugh. "Hey are you guys making fun of me?!" Y/n says sitting down at the table. "No of course not!" Her father says. "We love you bubba." I say kissing her hand softly. Y/n orders our dinner and insists I have to try her meal. "Amore just one bit." She pleads. "It's spicy. You know I like plain." I say. "Le it's just a little bit of red crushed pepper." She says. "Fine." I say and she smiles feeding me some of her meal. I eat it and it tastes amazing. "It's good." I say and then start coughing a bit. "I feel the spice." I say taking a big sip of water. She laughs making me laugh too. "At least you tried bella." She says. "Are you excited for our trips this summer?" I ask. "Of course it's been a while since I've gone to LA and Ibiza." She says. "I can't wait! It's our first of many vacations together." I say happily and y/n smiles so brightly that I feel butterflies. We share a chocolate cake for dessert and y/n goes to speak to her father leaving me alone at the table.
