Marco's POV

Knocking on the door, I took a deep breath. "Hi Marco." Ana's mom said and I tried my best to smile. "Good morning, madam." I said and she giggled. "There really isn't a way where you stop calling me madam?" she asked and I chuckled. Ana's exactly like her mom. Lovely. Polite. Kind. Funny. Clever. "Can I come in, please?" I asked and she nodded leading me to the living room. "Thomas is away. You can tell me anything." she said and I gulped. Man up! "How's Annie?" I asked softly peeking at her through my eyelashes. She sighed and smiled sadly. "She's good." she answered. This is what I didn't want to hear. I know it seems selfish not wanting Ana to feel good, but if she doesn't feel good there, she'd come back to me. At least that's what I think. "Marco, listen, you hurt her." she said and I nodded flinching a bit. "She was in pain. She loved you and a though of you sending her away not answering the question if you love her has never come into her mind. That's why it hurt her." she explained. "Will she stay there?" I asked. I came here with full box of questions. Questions I need answers for. Answers which I'm afraid of hearing.

"That's how it seems." she replied and I smiled sadly tears coming into my eyes. "Leo's family is in Barca right now. They're having...fun." she said. Fun? With his family and him? "Is she coming to Berlin?" I asked and she nodded. "Yeah, but she said that she'll not come." she said and my heart stopped beating. This is not Ana. She'd never miss a chance of coming to Dortmund. This is her city. Her home. Just like mine. "Wh-why?" I asked and she smiled sadly. Because of me. It doesn't matter. I'll find a way to see her. To talk talk to her. To make her face me. I. Will. Go. To. Berlin.

We heard the door being closed. I immediately stood up. Ana's dad was all smiley, but when he noticed me, his smile froze. "G-good morning, sir." I said and he nodded looking at his wife. "What's he doing here?" he asked his words clearly not addressed to me. "Marco came to talk." Ana's mom said and he looked at me. "Talk? What do you wanna talk about Marco?" he asked sternly and I gulped. "Y-your daughter." I said and he scoffed. "You have no right to know a single thing about her or her life." he said stepping closer. "Thomas." she warned and he shook his head. "You kicked her away. You made her leave. And now, she's happy. Without you. With Leo Messi." he said. When he realized there are tears in my eyes, his facial expression softened. "Let her be happy Reus." he mumbled and padded away. I want her back. I still can't say that I love her. But if we take it step by step this time, we can make it.

Thomas' POV

I took my wife to the kitchen and rubbed my face with my hands. "Make. Him. Leave." I said through my clenched teeth, but she shook her head. "Please, Tom, calm down." she said and I pointed on the living room where Reus sat. "He hurt her! He hurt my daughter!" I exclaimed in whisper. "But...he's sorry." she said and I scoffed. Let him say that to somebody who has no connection with Ana. "I don't care. He'll not talk to her, nor see her." I said and looked in the living room's direction.

Marco's POV

"He'll not talk to her, nor see her." Thomas said and I sighed. Walking to the kitchen's direction, I stopped in front of them. I will see her. And I will talk to her. In Berlin. "I don't wanna hurt her." I said and Thomas scoffed. "Yeah? That's what you said about 2 months ago! And look around. Hm. I can't see Ana, can you?!" he exclaimed and I shook my head lightly. "She's happy with Leo. He is way better! He treats her the way a beautiful wise woman deserves to be treated. Do you understand me?!" he asked and I shook my head. "He's not right for her." I mumbled and Ana's mom stepped closer to him to prevent him from hitting my face. "I liked you! Til the moment you hurt my daughter! My only daughter!" he had exclaimed, but took a deep breath after that. "You aren't the one allowed to say if somebody is right for her." he said calmly and walked closer to me. "You're an amazing football player. I've known you since forever. But it doesn't mean I'm gonna forgive you hurting An." he said and walked past me.

Leo's POV

I was watching the TV with Ana a while ago, but she had to leave to tidy some clothes in the wardrobe. "Leo? Do you need anything to pack for Berlin?" she asked peeking into our bedroom from the closet. "No, why?" I called and she giggled. "So that I can know if I can tidy everything." she replied and turned to the clothes again. She's so perfect. Wonderful. Lovely. I love her. And when I said that she'll be my fiancée, wife and mother to our kids, I was absolutely aware of saying that. If Reus won't get into my way again, we will be together. But day by day, I'm believing deeper and deeper that she will never leave me. Never. And with baby, I'd be absolutely 100 per cent sure.
