Tuesday

I walked in the kitchen and smiled. "Good morning Morena." I said and she turned in my direction. Wait, why is she running towards me? Sooner than I realized what's going on, she hugged me. "Hi." she said and I knelt down. "Are you the 1st one awake?" I asked and she nodded. "Are you hungry?" I asked and she shrugged. "Well, I can make you food." I said and walked behind the counter. "Do you want cereals? Or...jam? Toast?" I asked and I heard a giggle. Looking behind my shoulder, there she was, Maria Sol. "Hi." she said and I nodded. "You're trying too hard." she said and rubbed my back. "We'll have toasts." she said. She's nice. I like her. This is exactly the way Marco's sisters were behaving themselves towards me. Marco. Again. I'm thinking about him again. "Leo's asleep?" she asked. "No, he's already awake. But he didn't want to get up." I said and she giggled.

"Oh, hello precious ladies." Leo said stepping into the dining room. "I wake up and what I see. 3 beautiful girls." he said and I giggled. "But I suppose the most beautiful one is Ana." Maria said and I looked at Leo. "That's to be expected." he mumbled and pecked my lips. "Where are guys? And mom?" he asked and I shrugged. "Probably still sleeping." I replied. "Ana? You are from Germany?" Morena asked and I nodded looking at her. "Why are you in Spain?" she asked and I giggled. "Do you know why I had come here before meeting Leo or why I'm here now?" I asked and she grinned. "Both." she said and I giggled. "Well, I was working in a hotel when I met Leo. And now, I'm here in Barcelona because of him." I said and she smiled. "Do you still have school?" Maria asked. "Yeah. The last year of school starting in late September." I said. "Will you finish your school here in Spain?" she asked and I gulped. We actually haven't talked about this yet. Looking at Leo, I noticed his doubtful look. I was about to say something when Leo's parents, Rodrigo, Benjamin and Agustin came into the room. "Good morning." I said standing up from my seat. Leo was about to stand up too when I pushed him back on the chair. "Stay. I'm...gonna make more toast." I said and walked in the kitchen. What a great coincidence that they came in that moment.

Searching through my clothes in my wardrobe, I heard the door being closed. After turning around, I smiled at Leo. "Hey." I said and turned back to the closet. "I'm thinking what I'll pack to Berlin." I mumbled. "Ana." Leo said and I shivered. Leo has never said my name this bitterly. Tuning around, I furrowed my eyebrows softly. "What's going on?" I asked afraid of his answer. Afraid that he'd send me away as in the dream I had a few nights ago. "You..you didn't answer when Maria asked you about the school." Leo said crossing arms over his chest. "Any explonation?" he asked and I bit my lip. "I-I didn't know what to say." I said and he raised his eyebrows allowing me to see the pain in his eyes. I know how it feels to be disappointed by the one who you love. Marco let me know how it feels. And I won't do the same thing to Leo. He's done more than enough for me, he doesn't deserve this. "Leo, we haven't talked about it." I said and stepped closer. "I want to talk to you first, only then I can answer Maria's question." I said softly wrapping my arms around his torso. "Please, don't be angry. Please." I mumbled and he nodded wrapping his arms around me. "I love you, Annie. I just..got scared that you might leave." he admitted and I shook my head. I have nowhere to go. "I won't leave you." I said and he smiled putting a few strands of my hair behind my ear. "Let's talk. I wanna have it clear." he said and pecked my lips.

"So? What would you like?" I asked sitting on Leo's lap. I heard a squeal from downstairs causing me to look at the door. "The children are probably playing." he said making me look at him again. "What would I like?" Leo repeated my question and I nodded. "Annie, this is not about me. This is about us." he said and I smiled. Marco has never talked about our future. "Okay." I said and he pecked my lips. "Is there the possibility of finishing the university here in Barcelona?" he asked and I nodded. "W-would you take it?" he asked and I chuckled. "Leo, once I got used for you, I'd never leave." I said and kissed his cheek. "I will stay." I confirmed. He smiled and hugged me. I wanna show him how much he means to me. He and Barcelona. "Leo?" I asked softly causing him to pull away. "I wanna have a tattoo." I said shyly and he giggled. "Yeah? Why now? And how should it look like?" he asked and I buried my face into his neck from shyness. "It should be on my wrist. Barcelona. And Dortmund under it." I said and pulled away looking into his eyes. He didn't say a word causing me to continue. "Barcelona because this city means a lot to me. And because you are here. And Dortmund because I was born there and my parents live there." I explained and he nodded smiling. "And now about the uni, will you continue working at the hotel? Or is there another program you can choose." he asked and I gulped. "I...I'll have a program with 2 days at school." I said and he furrowed his eyebrows. "Is it even possible?" he asked and I nodded. "You gave me the car and...you told me to go shopping, but I made something more useful." I said and took a breath. "I was at the university council. They told me there's this program. And so, I'm telling you about it." I said and he grinned. "Have I ever told you how amazing you are?" he asked and I giggled blushing softly. "You are amazing girlfriend, Annie." he said and pecked my lips. "And once, you'll be an amazing fiancée. Amazing wife. And amazing mom." he said with his forehead pressed against mine. Fiancée? Mom? Wife? I...What?
