Walking back to my room from the reception, I saw a figure opening the door. Well, I hate having the room at the end of the hall, but it's normal. It's forgotten room, just right for some students. The figure lit up the lights and smiled shyly. "Hi...Ana." Lionel said and I nodded. "Hi." I mumbled and walked past him. I was about to open the door when he patted my shoulder. "Can I help? Anything wrong with the room?" I asked him and he chuckled lightly. "No. Everything is fine." he said and I nodded. If everything is fine, what does he want? Need? "I just...I don't even know." he said and rubbed the back of his neck. I swear that something strange is going on because I swear that his cheeks turned pink. "You are cute." I said without thinking. Ana? What the hell? Oh no. No. I'm not gonna regret a single thing I do. No, not anymore. He looked at me and giggled. "Ana?" Sofia's voice broke me out of my thoughts. I looked in front of me and waved her. "Hi. I'm back." I told her and she rubbed her eyes. "I see." she said and took a step forward to see who I was talking to.

"Oh shit!" she exclaimed and shut the door. Oh, she was in her pyjamas. How awkward. "Sorry." I said and he shook his had with a smile on. "You're from Germany, aren't you?" he asked and pointed on my wrist. Oh, the forgetting thing might be slow because of this reminder. I'm wearing a bracelet in the three colour of our country. I've worn it since the world cup because Marco gave it to me. Marco. "Y-yeah. Dortmund." I said and he nodded. "Nice." he said while keeping his gaze on me. I opened the door and looked at him one last time not to walk away without greeting him because that's absolutely rude. "Do you work here?" he asked quickly and I giggled. "Well, it's my practice. I study and practice here." I said and he nodded. "Perfect. That means I'll get to see you more than once." he said and I chuckled lightly. It seems that he...he could like me? But why does the one I want to like me doesn't like me? I am just a friend of Marco. Nothing more. "Yeah. See you." I said and closed the door behind me.

"What was that about?" Sofia exclaimed after I had finally lay down in the bed. "What do you mean?" I asked while putting the duvet over my body. "You were talking to Lionel Messi!" she exclaimed in whisper and I rolled my eyes. "And by the look he's had in his eyes, he likes you." she said and I sighed. "Glad to know. Now, I wanna sleep. Goodnight." I said and closed my eyes. Wait! If he likes me and I wouldn't like him, he would be in pain. Just like I was. I've been. I am.

Tuesday

I was walking to the coffee machine in the dining hall already dressed to school. I had a checked blouse and leather jacket on. Riped jeans and black chelsea boots to make it look like I'm happy and like I actually do care about how I look these days. I reached the coffee machine which was next to the tea machine. "Good morning." I greeted Messi. Why shouldn't I greet him? It would be rude ignoring him after talking to him yesterday. "G-good morning." he said with a smile. I switched on machine and waited for it to make me coffee. I looked at Lionel with furrowed eyebrows. What is he trying to do? Oh, well, he's a football player. He might have everything automatic. "Can I help you?" I asked and he blushed. Don't worry Leo, you don't look like an idiot. "You just need to switch it on here." I said and pushed the button to switch it on. "Now, just choose which tea you want." I said and took my coffee. "Awkward." he mumbled and I giggled. "It's fine." I said and took the cup. "Ana?" he called after I had started walking away. Turning around, I furrowed my eyebrows. "Yeah?" I asked and he smiled. "I...could...can..." he couldn't finish it. "Leo, I'm in a hurry. Just ask." I said and he smiled nervously. "Could I...have your phone number?" he asked. Wh-what? Has he just asked to have my phone number? Lionel Messi wants a number of brokenhearted and depressed Ana Burton? Huh. He looked down on the floor and I sighed. I know how he feels now. Just the same as I felt when I had told Marco that I love him and saw the emltionless look. The look not full of love as mine. I walked closer and chuckled nervously. "Give me your phone." I mumbled and he smiled. I wrote my name into his mobile. "Good luck. For the match tomorrow." I said and walked away.

.....

I was on Skype waiting for Robin to log in. He texted me that he wants to see me and so I agreed. He's the last one to hurt me so why not... "Hello." I waved him and he smiled. "Hi Annie." he said and I smiled. I miss being called Annie though I actually hate it. "How are you?" I asked and he shrugged lightly. "Marco misses you." he said and I smiled sadly. He misses his friend. "Why are you telling me?" I asked. Does he wanna break me even more? Or what is he trying to do? "Ana come back home. He...he might..." but he couldn't even finisht the freaking sentence. "Tell me already!" I exclaimed with tears in my eyes. "He might have feelings for you." he said quickly and the first tear rolled down my cheek. "He what?" I whispered. "Ana, he misses you like crazy." he said and I shook my head. Does...Could he love me?

"Why doesn't he call me himself?" I asked and he shook his head lightly. "It's difficult." he mumbled and I chuckled sadly. Yes, exactly what I thought. He says that he misses me just to get me home and when I am at home, he will break my heart again. "Nothing is difficult. Call me when you don't need to tell me all of these shits." I said and ended the call. He can't love me. And even if he would love me, it would mean nothing. He misses me, that's why he thinks he might love me. But if I'm back, he would realize that he doesn't love me at all. I just need to be happy. I have to forget.

Marco's POV

Robin sighed after Ana had finished their call. I looked down not being able to process the way she sounded. She was...disappointed? Broken? Sad? "She is angry with me now." Robin muttered and I nodded. "Sorry." I said while still looking on the floor. "Do you really love her? Or is this just a fake feeling?" Robin asked and looked at me. I shrugged and looked at him. If I only knew. I...I love her. But I don't know if I love her more than friend. "Marco! Do you really love her?" Robin repeated and I stood up. "I don't know! Okay? I love her! But I'm not sure what kind of love I feel!" I exclaimed and he smiled sadly. "Okay. Fine. But don't you dare to cry when she says she's never gonna come back." he said and walked to the kitchen. N-no! She...she has to come back! I need to see her again! I...I can't lose Annie.

I'm sorry for not posting that much lately. It'll get better hopefully.
