December

December 19th, 2015. My son, Thiago, was born. The happiest moment of my life. After all those months of doubting if I had done the right thing by leaving Marco, I have a reason to celebrate. To breath. My Thiago is the reason for me to breath. To live no matter what. My love towards Marco seems endless. I love him as a lover. As a boyfriend. As a fiance. As a husband. And Leo? I love Leo for giving me the opportunity to become a mother. For hugging me when I'm upset. For being with me when I need him.

"An?" Leo came into the room and I lifted Thiago up in my arms. Turning around, I smiled happily. "I love you." Leo whispered and moved closer. Leaving a kiss on Thiago's little cheek, he looked at me and kissed me too. "You were beautiful before, but since Thiago was born, you've been glowing." Leo said and I smiled gently. "Glowing with that big belly which remained." I said and he chuckled shaking his head. "You're my Ana no matter how big your belly is." he said. "Anyways, it's not big. It's completely the way it used to be." he said and I scoffed rolling my eyes. "I wanna take him to Germany." I said and he sighed. "Y-yeah. What about going there when he's older?" he asked and I nodded. "I wanna go there...in March? He'll be almost 4 months by then." I said. Me speaking about Germany makes Leo nervous. Not as nervous as a year ago, but still it gets him nervous. "There's the Christmas dinner waiting for us downstairs. Can we go and talk about Germany later?" he asked and I smiled when Thiago whimpered softly. "Let's go Thiago. You have some pretty gifts there too." I said and kissed his cheek. "Mama loves you." I whispered to him and Leo kissed my forehead. "Papa loves you too." I added and we went downstairs. First Christmas away from home. From my parents. Friends. Marco.

March

"Mom? I'll go for a walk with Thiago." I called from the hall. "Shall I come with you too?" she asked and I shook my head gently. "No, thanks. We'll have some mommy-son moment." I lied. We won't be alone. Marco will come. We didn't talk, but I sent him a text telling him to come to the almost forgotten place in the park if he wants to meet us.

"Hello." I greeted Marco. He turned around quickly and smiled. "Ana." he breathed out and I blushed. It's been a long time since I truly blushed. "Me and..." I said turning the baby buggy so he could see. "And Thiago." I completed the sentence. Marco's eyes landed on my son and I swear there was a little tear in his eye. "Thiago. Nice to meet you." Marco whispered. Thiago's eyes being fully opened made him see what's going on. "Bbbbb." he made a sound and I giggled happily. "Our actions have been awarded by his sounds for about a week now." I told Marco and he smiled while looking at me. "You're a beautiful mom." he said and I looked down shaking my head gently. "He's the reason for me to live." I said and he smiled worriedly. "I'm not thinking about killing myself, don't worry." I told Marco and sat down on the bench. "I miss Dortmund." I mumbled taking in the fresh air. "Barcelona is much warmer." I said and Marco chuckled. "Yeah. You can always come back." he said and I sighed. "I can't. My baby has a father in Barcelona." I said and Marco furrowed his eyebrows. "Was that Spanish accent I heard?" he asked and I gulped. "Mmmm." Thiago whimpered and Marco stood up to have a look at him. "Make sure that he knows Germany." Marco mumbled and I looked down on my lap. "Germany, yeah. I'll make sure he'll know you too." I said and looked up at him. "Once he understands everything, I'll introduce you to him as one of the most important people in my life, Marco." I assured him and Marco took a deep breath. "I miss you." he said and my heart jumped. "D-don't you h-have a girlfriend?" I asked softly looking at Thiago whose big brown eyes were fully opened. "No. Somehow, I always compare other women to you." he said and I looked at him. "And?" I asked not getting the point. "And none of them seems enough." he said and I smiled sadly.

"Bbb." Thiago started and so I placed him on my lap his head being supported by my chest. "He's handsome." Marco said looking at him. "I got something for you." Marco told him and his hand travelled into his pocket. "A BVB bee." Marco said handing him a little toy. Thiago squealed and my eyes went wide. "He...he's just..." I rambled looking at him and Marco chuckled. Thiago observed the toy and pointed his finger on Marco. "Mm." he mumbled and squealed still looking at Marco. My son squealed at the sight of Marco. Huh. This..this is heartbreaking. "Thiago tell Marco how you support your favourite football team." I told Thiago and he grinned. "Bbb! Bbb!" he made a sound and I giggled. Looking at Marco, I saw some signal of pain in his eyes. "Are you okay?" I asked gently placing my hand on Marco's arm. He took my hand after a while and brought it to his lips, leaving a kiss on it. "I wish this would be my life." he whispered and I looked at Thiago. "My life is Thiago." I whispered and he furrowed his eyebrows. "What about Messi?" he asked and I smiled lightly. "Yeah. Taking care of my baby and Leo." I said and looked at Marco. "How is he with Thiago?" Marco asked and I sneezed. I missed this cold air. "Why do you ask?" I asked. "Because if he treats you and Thiago right, I don't have a reason to beat him." he said and I chuckled. "He's...amazing father to him. And he supports me too." I said and Marco pressed his head against my shoulder. "M-Marco..." I said and he shook his head gently. "Please. Let me be this close to you for at least a minute." he begged and I nodded. "Ddddd." Thiago blabbed turning his head to look at Marco. "What, little one? Where's your bee?" Marco asked and took the toy from Thiago. "This is bee. A reminder of Dortmund for you." he said and moved the bee in front of his face what Thiago found funny. A reminder of Dortmund for Thiago. But a reminder of Marco for me.

"Leo?" I called stepping on the board of the yacht. "An. Thiago is crying." Leo said appearing in front of me with crying Thiago in his arms. I sighed and took him in my arms what calmed him down a little. "Why did you take him, Leo? I told you to wait for me." I said while my lips was at the top of my son's head. "An, he's my son too. He just started crying, that happens." he said and I rolled my eyes. "Will we give you a yogurt?" I asked and Thiago looked at me. "Don't cry, baby." I said and wiped his tears away. "We wanna go to the beach." I said looking at Leo. "Beach? Why?" he asked with a frown on his face. "Because we do. If you don't wanna go, I'll take only Thiago." I informed him and walked downstairs into our bedroom. "I love you, baby." I said and Thiago put his hand on my cheek. "We'll go to the beach, okay?" I asked and he giggled. "Give mommy a kiss." I said and pecked his lips. "Ana, why did you get so angry?" Leo spoke from behind. "Angry? Simply because I asked you to wait for me, but no. You had to take him upstairs yourself." I said not looking at him. "Sorry." he said and kissed my bare shoulder. "What if we'd just lie in today?" he asked and I turned around carefully. "No. I wanna go to the beach." I said and when he was about to speak, I cut him off. "Leo, we've been on this freaking yacht for 4 days. I wanna go somewhere." I said and he nodded pecking my lips. "Get ready then." he said and left. He always does what I want. Sometimes without fight, sometimes with fight, but he always tries to do what I want.

On the beach

"Ana." I heard my name and so I turned around. "Marcel!" I squealed and hugged him after jumping out of the sun lounger. "Robin. Hi." I mumbled and hugged him too. "Thia..." when I turned to Thiago, I got breathless. "Hi Annie." Marco said sitting on the sand next to my son. "Hi." I said and smiled. "Thiago who is it?" I asked and he moved the little plastic rake in the air. "This is Marcel, Robin and Marco." I said and lifted him up. "Baba." Thiago mumbled and I kissed his cheek. "Friends. No baba, friends." I said and he squealed. "You're alone here?" Marcel asked and I shook my head. "We have a yacht just around the coast. Leo only went away to buy Thiago juice." I said and looked at Marco. "Thiago, show Marco your favourite toy." I told Thiago and placed him next to my handbag. "Wait for it." I mumbed to the guys. Thiago took the BVB bee and waved it in the air. "Favourite toy." I said and giggled. They all laughed when Leo came. "Hello." Leo said and I choked. "L-Leo, this is Marcel. Robin. Marco." I introduced them. "Nice to meet you." Leo said and his arm fell on my waist keeping me close to him. This gesture wasn't unnoticed. At least Marco noticed and rolled his eyes. "Thiago was showing them the bee." I told Leo and he smiled. "Yeah. Barcelona's toys are nothing compared to this." Leo said and Marco smirked. Okay. This seems like a quiet catfight. "Will you join us at lunch?" I asked and they smiled. "Can we?" Marco asked looking at Leo and I gulped. "I have no problem. Shall I have one, Ana?" Leo responded looking at me. I sighed and got out of his grip to lift Thiago up. "I'll go swimming with him a bit." I mumbled and walked closer to the sea. This is gonna be an interesting lunch.
