Chapter 41

Thursday

I woke up earlier today. By earlier I mean at about 6 am. I couldn't sleep much. Marco's been on my head. I'm worried about him. And so I opened my laptop and searched for some new articles. And there it was, a photo gallery of the practice yesterday. Marco was there. Thanks God. It means that he's not that bad anymore.

"Good morning." I heard Leo's voice causing me to jump lightly. "Hi." I said turning around. "Do you know what the time is?" he asked and moved towards me. "Yeah. 6:30." I said looking on my watch which were on my wrist. "Why are you awake?" he asked sitting next to me. "I don't know." I said and looked at him. "Why are you staring on me?" I asked and giggled along. "Because I love the way you look." he said and caressed my cheek. "You should know that I had auburn hair." I said out of nowhere and he raised his eyebrows. "Did you?" he asked and I nodded. "Yeah. I died it when I was 16, but got my colour back being about 19." I said and he smiled. "You can have even purple hair, you're still beautiful to me." he said and pecked my lips. I haven't got used to this kissing yet. But I always kiss back because when I see the sparkle in Leo's eyes, it's impossible not to kiss him back. "I'll make you breakfast." I said and stood up. "W-wait." he said taking my hand in his. "I can do it myself." he said and stood up. "Leo, I live with you. I don't have to do anything. I can just lie around. The least I can do is this." I said and he smiled kissing my forehead. As Marco. "Thanks then." he mumbled and I nodded going to the kitchen.

2 pm

"Annie?" Leo called. I ran down the stairs to be met by him in the hall. "Were you in the bedroom?" he asked and I nodded. "Unpacking my clothes." I explained and he kissed my lips. "Okay. Now, here you are." he said pulling a bouquet of yellow tulips from behind his back. "Thank you." I said and took it leaving a soft kiss on his cheek. "Do you have a plan for today?" Leo asked and I shook my head. "Oh you do." he corrected me and I giggled. "What about a walk on the beach?" he asked and I bit my lip. "I'd like that." I said and he leaned in pecking my lips. "Go, put on your bikini, we'll walk, and then, heading straight to the swimming pool." he said and I chuckled. Marco has never planned events. He didn't care. I turned around and started walking upstairs. "An? I love you." Leo said and I smiled shyly looking at him. I hope he won't get fed up with me too. I ran down the stairs and kissed his cheek. "I love you too." I whispered into his ear and ran away.

Lionel's POV

I know she might not say it too, but I wanna let her know that I really do love her. "An? I love you." I said and she turned around. She bit her lip with a shy smile causing my heart to beat faster. She's so perfectly wonderful to me. She ran down the stairs and kissed my cheek gently. "I love you too." she whispered into my ear and immediately ran away leaving me there speechless. I shook my head lightly and laughed quietly. I can't help, but wonder if Reus loves her. She said that he's been cold and emotionless, but it doesn't mean he doesn't love her. But I...I do love her. And it won't take much time to me to take her out. I wanna see the whole world that she's my girlfriend. The whole world and Reus will have to know that she is my girlfriend.

Ana's POV

Even though I was walking hand in hand with Leo, my mind was drifting to Dortmund. How are my parents doing? How is Lena? Or Marcel? What about Robin? And...Marco? "An?" Leo addressed me causing me to look at him. Seeing his smirk, I knew something is going on. "Do you wanna go swimming?" he asked pointing on the sea. "What? No!" I answered shaking my head. "Why not?" he asked moving closer to me still that devilioush smirk on his face. "Because it's cold!" I exclaimed and he lifted me up without any problems. "Leo! Stop!" I spoke while laughing. His feet were already in the water when I decided on trying it one more time. "Leo, please, please, please." I said and he stopped walking further. "Are you scared of water or what?" he asked and I wrapped my arms around him tighter. "No. But it's not very warm yet!" I said and he giggled. "We'll have to swim in the pool then." he said and I shrugged. "Whatever you want." I said looking at him. He giggled and kissed my cheek. "Could we walk out of the water so that you can take a picture of me? I'd like to send it to mom letting her know that I'm alive." I said and he smiled. "Whatever you want Annie." he said.

Sipping my water, I looked in the pool's direction and giggled seeing Leo looking at me. "I really think you're doing whatever you can so that you don't have to come here." he said and splashed the water. I laughed and put the glass on the table. I pulled the light yellow dress over my head to stay dressed only in my red pair of bikini. I noticed Leo staring at me and so I blushed. "C'm here, please." he said and I chuckled. Getting into the water, I smiled immediately. "See? This water is much better than the one outside." I said and swam closer to him. "I don't mind anything as long as I see you." he said and pulled me closer by my waist. "In this bikini." he added and kissed my cheek. "I've got one question." he announced and so I focused on what he's about to say. "Would you come to the cup final?" he asked and I gulped. Marco, I mean Borussia will play too. Dortmund is my club. "I..." I looked at the water. "Oh, if...you don't wanna see it, fine. It's okay." he said and I shook my head looking at him. Ana Burton, you're his girlfriend now, so behave like that! "Sorry, Leo." I said and moved closer to him wrapping my arms around his neck. "I will come." I said and he smiled lightly. "You don't have to, An. It was just an idea." he said. Even though I'd like to see the German cup final, I chose about a week ago. "An amazing idea. It'll be a pleasure to be there." I said and pecked his lips. "Do you wanna take Sofia?" he asked and I bit my lip. "Could I? I'd like to have somebody there with me." I said quietly and he smiled. "I love you An." he said and I smiled. "Me too." I whispered and he was about to pull me into a kiss when I splashed the water on his face. Giggling, I pointed my finger on him laughing at his facial expression. "Oh girl. You shouldn't have done that." he said and I continued laughing.

I lied down and covered myself with the duvet. I hope this night will be much, much better than those previous ones. "Leo?" I called and he came in the bedroom. "You'll stay at the hotel tomorrow, won't you?" I asked and he nodded taking off his T-shirt. Somehow, it doesn't make butterflies appear in my stomach, as it did back in Dortmund. "Yeah. Why?" he asked and I shrugged looking on the white duvet. "I'll be alone here. What will I do?" I asked with a pout and he lay down next to me. "I'll come back after the training and then, I'll leave at about 4 pm." he said and kissed my forehead. "You can swim. Or walk on the beach. Or you got a car yesterday." he said and I bit my lip.
