I opened my eyes and looked on the phone on the nightstand next to my 'comfty' bed. It's already 5 pm. Marco's gone to training, Robin and Marcel went home to take a nap and mom is having a phone call with my dad. I took my phone and checked all those missed calls. Leo. Sofia. Rick. Aaron. "Ana?!" Leo answered and I smiled sadly. "Hi Leo." I said and heard the sigh that left his mouth. "Ana, why didn't you answer my calls? Where are you?!" he asked. "I'm at the hospital Leo." I said. "Wh-what? Where? Why?!" he asked. "Leo, I collapsed. They'll let me go home the next morning." I said. "An, are you okay?" he asked. "Yeah. My friend had caught me before I could have hit the ground." I said. "Thanks to him." he said and I smiled. Yeah, Marco saved me from hitting the ground. "I'm sorry for not answering." I said. "It's fine. How do you feel now?" he asked and I shrugged. "Better." I said. "When will you come to Barcelona?" he asked and I bit my lip. I'm gonna leave Dortmund again. "Doctor told me not to fly tomorrow and so I'll catch my flight on Sunday." I said. "Good. I'll make sure to pick you up." he said. "Leo? Could you stop by at the hotel to tell Sofia that I'm okay?" I asked. "Y-yeah. Sure." he said and I heard voices behind the door. "I'm tired." I said. "Go to sleep then. I won't call so that I won't wake you up, but promise that you'll call when you wake up." he said. "Promise." I said. "Good. Be safe." he said and I nodded. "Bye Leo." I said and hung up.

"Who were you talking to?" mom asked after opening the door for herself. "My roommate." I lied and she smiled. "Sofia?" she asked and I nodded. She sat down on the side of my bed and caressed my cheek. "Haven't you changed your mind about leaving?" she asked. I can't stay here. Not after all I said yesterday. "No mom, I haven't." I said and she sighed. "Do you like it there that much?" she asked and I shrugged. "It's fine being somewhere else than Dortmund." I said and she kissed the top of my head. "You'll have to call me every single day to let me know that you're fine." she said and I giggled. "Dad says hi. And he also didn't forget to add that you should man up." mom said and I laughed what caused the pain to hit my head. "Ouch." I giggled along while rubbing my head. Dad has aways told me to man up if something is wrong. He always says that nothing is as bad as it seems. But yeah, my life is badly bad.

"Finally." I said and mom giggled. "Carefully!" she exclaimed when she noticed me standing up. She hurried over to me and helped me. "Mom, I am fine." I said and she threw her hands in the air in defence. "Okay. Fine." she said and I put my hair in a ponytail. "Did you bring my car so I can drive us out of here?" I asked and she raised her eyebrows. "Drive? You? No way." she said and I sighed. "Hello!" Robin exclaimed when he stepped in the room. "Can we go?" he asked and I noticed Marco behind him. Gulping, I took my bag and nodded. "Yes, please." I said and he chuckled. "Let's go then." Marco said and I looked down on the floor. "Yeah. Let's go." I mumbled and walked past them keeping my gaze on the floor.

"Mom?" I called from the living room. "What honey?" she asked walking in. We're in my flat since everything is unpacked in the new house of theirs. "Can I have a cup of coffee?" I asked and she sighed. "Ana. No." she replied sternly and I rolled my eyes. "I need to go shopping since all we've got is bread and butter." she said and I sipped the water. Doesn't taste like coffee at all. "Marco will be here by any minute to look after you. I should be back in an hour." she shouted from the hall and the last thing I heard was her closing the door. Amazing. Marco will come. Great.

Hearing the knock on the door, I made myself stand up and open it. "Hi." Marco said and I nodded lightly. "Marco, mom is just making drama out of nothing. You...don't have to be here." I said and looked up at him. He shook his head and walked past me. "I'd never forgive myself if I leave you alone and something would happen." he said and I gulped. Laying down on the sofa, I covered myself with the blanket. "How do you feel?" he asked and sat down on the other sofa. He can't even sit next to me. "Better." I said and he smiled lightly. "Can we talk?" he asked. This is a question I've heard about ten times from him. "I thought we've already talked." I said and looked at the TV. "But..." he started, but I cut him off. "But nothing. You don't love me. You don't need me. That's it." I said coldly and he sighed. "Ana, how can you know that when you don't let me speak?" he asked and stood up. "We haven't talked. You were speaking the whole time. So now it's my turn." he said and I shook my head. "I don't need to hear anything." I said and looked at him. "Then find something to put into your ears because I'm gonna speak." he said sternly.

"I'm sorry that you feel the way you do. I know that the feeling you've had for 5 years is strong. And I also know that it hurts. But imagine being me." he said. "A female best friend told me that she loves me. Just like that." he said and I blinked. "I'm sorry for the way I made you feel." he said and I bit my lip. "But I was not ready to hear those words." he said. "Hear it from you." he added. I stood up and sighed. "I...this is so messed up." I said and those spinning of my head came. "Marco leave." I said and he shook his head. "No, it's visible that you've got a headache." he said and I shook my head. "If you don't want me to feel even worse then go." I mumbled and he stepped closer. After leaving a kiss on my forehead, he took a step back. "I don't wanna lose you Annie." he said. Annie. "Leave." I muttered. Oh God it hurts. The moment I realized he doesn't love me. But I need to be loved. I need to feel that somebody loves me.

"Leo?" I asked when he answered the call. "Hello beauty." he said and I smiled. "I'm alone and need to talk to somebody." I said. Lie. I just can't think about what's just happened. "Alone? Where's your mom?" he asked worriedly. "She's doing shopping." I said. "Oh, okay. Then tell me something." he said and I chuckled. "Something? Such as?" I asked. "Such as when your plane arrives." he said. It made my tears appear. Talking about leaving everybody again makes me cry. "Sunday 5 pm." I said. "Great. I'll make sure to be there." he said and I shook my head. "I can take a taxi." I protested. "No taxis for my girlfriend." he said. Oh, I'm his girlfriend. "Thanks then." I said and looked out of the window seeing my mom's just arrived. "Are you leaving for Cordoba?" I asked. "Yeah. 30 minutes til our flight." he said. "Good luck." I told him. "Thank you. I'll call you after the match." he said. "Okay. Bye Leo." I said. "Bye Ana. Be careful." he said and hung up. Exactly what I need. I need to feel that I'm loved and somebody cares about me. And Leo can make me feel that way. By asking about how I feel. By saying 'my girlfriend'. I need this. Not for my ego. But for my heart. I just wish Marco could love me.
