I'm 5 months pregnant. 5 months of being tortured. Tortured because I can't be with people who I love. Because they're in Dortmund. I'm currently here too, but that's just because Leo is on tour with Barcelona in America. I wanna see them all. Starting with mom, dad, going to Lena, Marcel and Robin. And Marco? That's a question. I don't know if I wanna see him. When I look at myself in the mirror, I always smile. Seeing the bump is precious. But then, when I realize that this baby isn't the man's of my dreams, I shiver. I wouldn't never want Marco to get hurt. And if seeing me with the bump would hurt him, then I wish he'd never meet me again.
"Annie! My baby!" mom exclaimed after opening the door of her house. I giggled and hugged her. "Hi mom. I missed you so much." I mumbled into her ear and she kissed my cheek. "Me too. How is my grandchild?" she asked putting a hand over my bump. "Yeah, how is he? Or she?" dad spoke and I looked behind mom's shoulder. "Dad!" I squealed and hugged him tightly. "You haven't lost your strenght." he commented and I chuckled. "Do you know the gender?" dad asked and I bit my lip. "Let's talk inside." I mumbled and he smiled nodding his head. After walking further the house, I was led to the dining room. "Welcome!" everybody exclaimed and it took me a while to take a breath. "Hi! Do you remember me? I'm Lena." she had joked what made me punch her shoulder gently. "I do! Hi." I said and hugged her. "Hi An." Marcel said and Robin waved awkwardly. Even though they're not my best friends because it's impossible after the..Marco thing, I love them. I took a few long steps to reach them and hugged them at once. "Hello." I said and pulled away. I couldn't help, but see how their eyes dropped on my bump. Everybody realized the awkwardness of this situation and Lena cleared her throat. "Tell us everything! About your life! The baby! Oh God! You know if it's a boy or a girl already! Tell us!" she exclaimed and I was about to respond when a figure appeared in the room. Turning on my left, my heart dropped. "Hi Ana." Marco said huskily and I gulped. My baby's become the most important thing to me by the time I was gone, and so I put my hand over my bump protectively. "Hi." I mumbled a bit louder than whisper is said. "Let's eat. Y-you must be hungry." mom said breaking the silence and I smiled politely. "We're starving." I said with a soft giggle meaning me and the baby.
"So, how's Leo?" Lena asked and I looked up at her from the plate which sat ahead of me. "Lena." Robin whispered sternly, but I only smiled settling the spoon back on the table. "He's currently in the US. Barca have a tour there." I said. "We both are excited about our bump." I said quietly and looked down at the belly which was fully visible. "You're beautiful. Now, with that bump." Marcel said and I smiled looking at him. "Thanks." I mumbled and rubbed the material which was set on the skin of my big belly. "What's the gender?" Marco spoke and I choked. His eyes are darker. They've never been this way. And there's also no smile on his face. "Stop." Marcel said, but Marco kept staring straight into my eyes. "What's the sex of the baby?" he repeated the question and I sighed. It had to come anyways. "It'll be a beautiful baby boy." I answered and everybody gasped for air. "Boy! Nina, we'll have a boy in our family!" dad exclaimed. "Boy?! Yay!" Lena squealed. "Congratulations Ana." Marcel said and Robin added "Hopefully, we'll see him playing football here in Dortmund." But Marco? His face got pale. His eyes even darker. His lips pressed in a thin tensed line. His stare is sending shivers down my body.
"What about the name?" mom asked. "You could use something German too." dad said and they started naming some names for the unborn boy. "Leo..and I, we've already decided on the name." I said carefully and everybody got silent. "Have you?" mom asked surprised and I smiled. "He...he was created in Barcelona, his dad comes from Argentina and both, Spain and Argentina, are like a home to this boy's mom." I started and looked at them. Somehow, my gaze fell on Marco. I hadn't realized I'd cause such a big pain while saying it. "That's why his name will be Thiago. Thiago Messi." I announced. Marco's fork fell on the floor and everybody stood up while looking at him. "Spain is no home to you! Nor Argentina!" he exclaimed pointing his finger on me. "The...the baby was created in Spain while you both were drunk!" he exclaimed and my blood spoiled. As I said a few months ago, he can accuse me. But not my baby. "I was not drunk." I said through my clenched teeth and he smirked. However, despite the smirk on his face, his eyes were covered by tears. "No? Don't try to tell me that this was planned! Don't tell me that you're glad to be stuck with Lionel Messi forever." he said. "You were drunk while the baby was being created." he added bitterly. This crossed the line. The man who I loved, the sweet, nice, handsome and smiley man has changed into a monster. Monster who is dark. "This wasn't planned, but the night was amazing." I said bitterly. "Ana!" mom exclaimed, but I shushed her by placing my hand in the air. "In that night, Leo made me feel what you could never show me." I said and took a step aside to push the chair on its original place. "He showed me how the feeling of being loved is. He showed me how love can make you feel. He was the most careful, gentle and amazing man I've ever slept with. Not you." I said and saw his vein on the neck. It only appears when he's angry. "He was tender and sweet." I added and the vein became more visible. "You would never do it like he did it." I said. "You only have sex for your own pleasure. But Leo's different. He did it for me. Not for him, but for me." I said and put the napkin on the table. "We created a life. A life of a little tiny baby who is ours." I said while tears were rolling down my cheeks. "And as you say 'you're still not ready to have a baby around you'." I imitated and his eyes got rid of a few tears too. "But I am. I am ready. And I wanna take care of somebody else than the man who I live with and myself." I said and took a step back. "You'd not be ready to share my love with somebody. But Leo is." I said and looked at everybody seeing their shocked faces. "And that makes Leo the better man." I finished the speech and disappeared into my room. After saying that, it feelt like a huge weight has been taken away.
