Dave knocked gently on the door, Todd opened the door a few seconds later and looked at the couple who were dressed nicely for the meal. "Come in." Todd said, opening the door to let them in. "Merry Christmas." He said as Lily and Dave came into the house, "Merry Christmas!" Lily said with a small awkward smile before taking off her shoes, Dave did the same. They went to the kitchen Dave following behind, Lily was leading the way. Victoria was standing in front of the stove cooking. She turned around to face Lily and Dave when they came in, Lily smiled and they hugged tightly, "Merry Christmas!" Victoria said cheerfully, Lily pulled away with a big smile across her face. Dave smiled when Victoria turned to him and gave him a soft hug as well. Soon enough the couples were getting food and sitting at the dining table. Lily and Dave were sitting next to one another at the table, Victoria was across from Lily sitting next to Todd. Todd wasn't saying much throughout the meal, neither was Dave. Dave would only engage in the conversation if Lily had asked him something.

Todd and Dave were basically giving each other the death stare. Todd hated the influence that Lily and Dave apparently had on Victoria, although Lily was pretty positive he was the type who didn't want his significant other to have any opinion at all and that was the only reason he didn't like Lily. It was pretty clear that Victoria felt threatened by Todd's authority. Dave on the other hand was trying not to reach across the table and ring Todd's neck. He promised Lily that he would at least try not to do anything drastic unless it was necessary. Dave was trying to think positively and ignore the annoyed look on Todd's face every time Lily made Victoria laugh so hard she got hiccups. Once dinner was over and the staring contest between both men ended for a short period of time Victoria suggested that Dave and Lily stay for drinks and dessert. Lily looked at Dave and shrugged her shoulders, "Do you want to stay?" Dave smiled, "She's offering alcohol, what am I going to say, no?" Lily smiled and kissed his cheek before taking her plate to the sink.

Todd was still sitting at the table, he didn't even offer to help them clean up or ask if they needed anything. Dave sat back down after he put his plate in the sink, Victoria and Lily stood at the sink rinsing the plates off, "So, Victoria tells me you're in a pretty popular band?" Todd said as Dave sat down across from him, Dave folded his arms in front of his chest and leaned back in the chair, he nodded in response, "Yeah, I am." Dave coldly replied, he knew it would be better if they didn't talk to each other. Although Todd didn't take the hint, "What band? I don't listen to music a lot but if you're pretty famous I must know the name at least, right?" Dave mentally rolled his eyes before clearing his throat and looking over at Lily who was laughing with Victoria, "Megadeth, although I doubt you're the type of man who listens to metal." He grumbled under his breath, he really really wanted Todd to shut up. Todd replied with a hum before Lily brought a beer over to Dave, "I assumed you didn't really want to drink wine for the rest of the night." She teased sitting down next to him, Victoria followed Lily and sat across from her again. Todd looked at Victoria as she sat down, "You didn't get me a drink?" Todd asked in a serious tone but Victoria just smiled, "I didn't know you wanted one, I can get you one." She said starting to stand but Todd quickly dismissed her and got up grumbling that it was fine although his demeanor didn't seem like it was. Victoria looked a little concerned when he started chugging down the beer.

Lily and Victoria talked at the table for a while before Todd offered that Dave and him could watch TV before they left since neither of them had any interest in the women's conversation. Todd continued to drink and his words were becoming slurred, everyone else was a bit tipsy especially Victoria but Todd was getting carried away. Lily followed Victoria into the kitchen to get more wine, Victoria picked up the heavy bottle, it slipped out of her hands and the glass shattered on the tiled kitchen floor, the shards flew, scattering their way across the tiles and the wine started flowing into a huge puddle. Victoria started laughing at Lily's shocked expression, "I think you're more tipsy than you would care to admit!" Lily laughed, grabbing onto the laughing Victoria who was falling to the floor.
