It was now Friday night, Lily called Daniel on Wednesday night and he said he would pick her up from Victoria's house around 10 pm. Lily grabbed her wallet and tucked it into her pocket. She left the bedroom and went down stairs, Victoria was sitting in the living room. "Hey, I'm going to a party, I'll be back in a few hours!" Lily turned to the door before Victoria stopped her, "Lily, please be careful, call me if you need anything." Lily turned back to look at her, "I will be safe, trust me." Victoria sighed, "Please don't let this become a habit again. You were in a very dark place then, I don't want you to live like that again." She said softly, Lily didn't say anything for a moment as she thought about what Victoria said. "That isn't going to happen again. Okay?" Victoria nodded quietly. Lily opened the door and locked it, shutting it behind her.

The car ride was relatively quiet, when they got to the party Daniel parked on the street and they went inside. It was a typical party, everything she expected. She followed closely behind Daniel as they went to get drinks, he grabbed a couple of beers and they went to find a place to sit down. They crammed their way onto the couch, "Has that douche bag apologized to you yet?" Lily almost rolled her eyes at the insult, it was clear Daniel was practically obsessed with throwing shit on Dave, although he hardly knew him. "No, we still haven't talked. I'm giving him time. I was going to call him soon and see if we could talk about what happened." Daniel nodded, "That's smart. He's probably still pissy." Lily took in a breath through her teeth, "I guess I'll just have to find out!" She shrugged and took a sip from her beer. "Hey, I'm going to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back." She stood up and walked through the halls of the house until she found a bathroom. She shut the door behind her blocking the noise that was swimming in her ears. "Jesus." She took a deep breath again and wiped her hand down her face. She stood in front of the mirror and combed her fingers through her hair. Her face held more life now then it had the past couple of days but her eyes were still dark.

She liked Daniel, he was sweet and caring. But she was no idiot, he was clearly trying to come on to her. She made a commitment to be with Dave, since he didn't clearly say he wanted to end their relationship she wasn't going to do anything to ruin it. She couldn't give her love or affection to anyone even if they were broken up, her soul belonged to his and his only.

Lily left the bathroom and shoved her way through the sea of people again, she sat back down with Daniel and chugged down the rest of her beer, it tasted stronger now then it had before. Daniel suggested that they dance, normally she would pass on that suggestion but she agreed. So she followed him to the middle of the living room and they danced. A few minutes in, Lily's head started to spin. The room became louder, resonating through her head. The lights were flashing faster and faster. She started to stumble, Daniel caught her and held her up. "Shit, are you okay? Come on." He practically carried her to the bathroom while her legs stumbled behind her, struggling to keep up. Daniel seemed impatient.

He shut and locked the door, Lily put her hand on her head and gripped the countertop trying to keep herself from passing out. Daniel grabbed her waist and pulled her away from the counter pushing her against the wall. He wrapped his hand tightly around her neck, Lily gasped for air staring into his darkening eyes. He was angry and hungry for something he should've never desired. Lily tried to yell out but a pathetic whimpering cry emerged from her lips. She clawed and grabbed at his hand, trying to pull his hand away from her. "Oh shut the fuck up! You're so fucking whiny." Daniel snapped. Lily dug her fingernails into his hand tearing at his skin. He yelled and grabbed her wrist with his other hand pulling her hand away from his. He tightened the grip around her neck and slammed her head into the wall with a loud thud. She gasped again from the impact as pain consumed her head.

Daniel reached down to Lily's jeans, he started fumbling with the button as he grew hungrier. Lily started whimpering helplessly, moving her hips to keep his hand away. Her head was spinning harder now and her eyes started to fall to the void of blackness. There was a loud bang that came from the door, it definitely wasn't a knock. It sounded as though someone was pushing their entire body weight into the door at once. "Someone's in here!" Daniel screamed angrily now that his disgusting act was being interrupted. The thud came again though this time the door swung open almost falling off of its hinges. Lily's vision blurred, she could make out a fearful expression on Daniel's face and a veiny hand grabbing ahold on the back of his head. Suddenly he was being pulled off of Lily, she gasped now that her bruised neck finally had access to sweet air. She took it in in huge gasps, letting the air swell in her lungs and flow out of her mouth as she exhaled.
