I got to class before the others did. The rest of team JNPR were already sitting together, Nora even waved for me to sit with them. I instead just sat in the back of the class, not wanting to be near the others right now.
I took off a piece of my steel and started to train my semblance. I had plans on how to use my semblance. Now that I was going to stay here, I could now do stuff more freely. Especially since I would no longer have a babysitter. Then when Ash gets better, so too does my main supply of metal. Then I'm sure with Neo's help I could get more hard to get metal. A criminal like her could probably find quite the amount of of rat poison for thallium. First, I would need to fine tune my current metal abilities. I was breaking apart the steel as much as I could when the door opened. I sighed as people sat down beside me.
Stele: "Why do you insist on bothering me still?"
I turned to look at Ruby as the rest of her...our... team sat beside beside me. At least Weiss sat at the end, not looking at me.
Ruby: "Well, you are technically part of the team now. Despite problems with one another, we need to stick as a team."
Stele: "Most of the team doesn't like me, and I can barely stand the team as well."
Ruby: "Well, our team wasn't always perfect either."
I just turned towards her, the annoyance visible in my eyes.
Stele: "I don't think whatever problems you had, are even remotely close to now. For let me guess, Schnee thinking she is perfect and better then you all. Finding out that black cat was a you know what. Yeah, I can totally see how that is equal to a murderer that tried to kill you, and would still kill you under the right conditions."
Yang: "You make it so easy for people to not like you. Yet, you somehow know more than you should."
Stele: "You can thank Schnee for that."
I seen her squirm in her seat as I mentioned her.
Stele: "I like seeing her uncomfortable. And to remind you, if you had forgotten cowlick, others do like me."
Blake: "What people like of you eludes me."
Stele: "Awfully brave of you to speak up kitty. You only scared with eye contact? Feeling brave with in a classroom? Well whatever it is, it doesn't matter. Also if you truly want to know why people like me, I have a few thoughts on it. It could be my natural charm, or they could like that I'm an Alpha."
They looked at me in disbelief.
Yang: "I just don't see that as being true."
Stele: "Damn, thought one of you would believe. Well, you can just ask your sister then. For she is someone that is starting to like me. Trying to be more friendly with me despite everything."
All eyes were on Ruby as I just smiled under my mask.
Ruby: "Well, what do you expect? He can be kind at times. He is a new student, and I am his team leader."
The others sighed, especially Yang. But the conversation had to stop as Glynda walked in. She looked over at us, then at me, and sighed as she continued to the front.
Stele: "I'm guessing she isn't all too happy about the elevator."
Ruby gave a small laugh at that. Though as the class started I ignored it for the most part. I already know how to fight and to kill. So working on my semblance is more important to me. I started by reshaping the piece of metal in front of me Into different shapes such as pyramids, cylinders, and cubes. I could do big objects easily. It was the finer things that were harder. I took the cube and started cutting it in half, then in half again. I needed to get it as small as possible, I just couldn't cut it that much. I gave up on that and put the steel back onto me. I moved onto gold now. I tried doing the same thing with the steel. I just didn't have as great of control, so it took some time to shape it on will alone. It took a while but I did get the cube and the cone made, it only took the rest of the class time. After a while of just making the shapes, Ruby started shaking me for my attention.
