As we left the showers people were already entering and taking their seats. The rest of both our teams were already sitting down. Ruby waved at us and pointed to an empty seat next to Blake.
Ruby: "Hello Stele. Blake will be the first one you spend the day with."
Yang: "You knew that though, right? She was gone when we woke up, and she was already here when we got here."
Stele: "Oh? Well sorry Cowlick, I hadn't seen her till now. Well, besides when you were all sleeping when I left that is."
I could see Blake just watching me as I lied to them. Glynda had walked in now and everyone turned to her now. I, however, just went back to playing with a piece of my copper spear.
Blake: "Why did you lie to them?"
Stele: "What do you mean?"
Blake: "We talked in the morning."
Stele: "You seemed to not want the others to know of your, what I would think, daily reading of smut."
Her face went red with embarrassment. I could hear her her ears flutter beneath her bow.
Blake: "Y... Yes. Thank you for not telling them. But what about earlier during your training? You made it clear that you knew I was there.."
Stele: "Of course kitty. Did you really think I wouldn't notice if you entered the room? You may be sneaky, but I have at least three different ways to notice you. I could smell you, I could heard you, and I felt you."
I reached over and started tracing the gold trim of her uniform.
Stele: "You see, the uniforms have gold inlayed in them. It's not much but I could still feel it."
Without realizing it, I had started bending the copper. It wasn't a lot, but it showed that I was really connecting to the copper. I looked over at Blake again to see her head down on the desk.
Glynda: "I'm sorry, is my class bothering you two?"
I turned to see that she was talking to Blake and I.
Blake: "Uh, no Ms. Goodwitch. Sorry to disturb you."
Glynda looked to me now.
Stele: "I already know what I need to. So I don't really pay much attention during the lesson. So I use the time where there is no spar happening to train my semblance."
I could see her get annoyed at me. What can I do though? I already know how to fight others, I only need to deepen the connection of my semblance.
Glynda: "Alright Stele. Since you are now a part of a team and are trying to bond, I will help you. You and Blake please come show us what you know."
It was Blake's turn to look at me mad.
Blake: "Look what you've done now!"
Stele: "You were the one that started talking first. Besides, we are supposed to spend the day together anyways. You will get to choose everything we do after I check up on ash. I won't complain at what you choose for us."
She was still mad at me though.
Blake: "I better get to choose."
We both went into the locker room this time.
Blake: "Why did you come in here? I thought you always had your weapon on you."
Stele: "I do. But I mean, fashion had made me an outfit, so why not use it?"
I opened a part of the Forge to take out my outfit.
Blake: "You kept it on you the whole time?"
Stele: "Yeah. Why do you ask?"
