Stele (A RWBY story)

End of trial (Final Part)

I woke up to some shaking. I instinctively covered myself in armor.

Ruby: "It's just me Stele! Relax."

I looked around to see that Velvet and Coco were both asleep next to me on the bed. Yatsuhashi and Fox were standing next to Ruby. They were smiling seeing us asleep on the bed. I undid my armor now and sat up with a yawn.

Stele: "What do you want Little Red?"

Ruby: "Well, it's time for dinner so I came to get you."

She showed me her scroll showing the time. I had been asleep for hours.

Stele: "You don't need me for dinner. So go eat with your team."

Ruby: "Well, you are part of the team now. So as leader of the team I'm making this an order.

Stele: "I don't do well with orders."

Ruby: "Can we do this outside? I think team CFVY wants their room. "

I looked over at Yatsuhashi. He just raised a bag of food, still with a smile. I got up off the bed and stretched.

Stele: "Sorry guys. I'll be going now. Tell the girls it was nice being with them. If they need or want me for anything they can message me."

I followed Ruby out of the room, then started walking away. I was grabbed by the hand and pulled.

Ruby: "You're not getting away mister."

Stele: "I think I liked you more when you were scared and timid of me, like black cat is."

Ruby: "Yeah, well you showed me how kind you could be. You have some scary moments, but I try and look past them."

I had shifted wheels onto my feet so that I didn't have to walk, letting her just pull me along.

Ruby: "So what did you and team CFVY do?"

Stele: "Well, if you hadn't noticed it wad only Fashion and Bunny there. We talked, they showed me how to use my Scroll, and then we did some other stuff."

Ruby: "And what was the 'other' stuff exactly?"

Stele: "Don't worry about it. Just know that I've calmed down since this morning."

Ruby: "Well that's good, because the rest of the team and JNPR are waiting for us now."

Stele: "So you only want everyone to get mad and tense once again?"

Ruby: "That's not what I'm trying to do Stele."

Stele: "Yeah, well it certainly seems like what you're doing."

Ruby: "The team has agreed on some things, which we will talk about at dinner. So come on already."

Stele: "I'm coming. Though I don't like it."

She continued to pull me as we made our way out of the dorms and across to the cafeteria. We got our food and made our way to the the table which the teams sat at. Team JNPR welcomed me happily, but the rest of team RWBY not so much. I took a seat between Ruby and Nora, with Weiss and Ren on the opposite side of us.

Stele: "So I am here. What did you want of me?"

Yang: "It's about time you got here."

Yang was beside Weiss with Blake at the end. I looked at her as she was moving her food around with a spoon.

Stele: "Sorry if I don't come jumping with joy when team RWBY wants me. Besides, I was asleep with Fashion and Bunny."

Weiss choked on her drink a little, Yang dropped her spoon, and Pyrrha blushed then looked away. Nora softly hit me in the arm as well.
