Stele (A RWBY story)

First day (Finale)

I had gone ahead of the others and was already waiting at the elevator. After they got here we all entered together.

I leaned against one wall with team JNPR surrounding me. Glynda stood in front do the door with Schnee beside her. The rest of team RWBY was behind her. Red hood and black cat stood in the corner next to cowlick. Cowlick, was leaned again the wall opposite, and kept flexing her hand which put her weapon in and out of its active state.

Stele: "Cowlick, think about the situation. We are in a metal box, in a metal tower. So, whatever you're thinking on doing. Just hope you're faster than me, a wolf Faunus's instinct."

Glynda: "Knock it off Stele."

They couldn't see it, but I was smiling under the mask. Cowlick did stop flexing her hand after what I said. We waited in silence a bit more before the door opened. When it did open, we were greeted with Ozpin standing in front of his desk drinking from his mug.

Ozpin: "Ah, Stele. I see you have met the team that will be sharing their room with you. And to let you know, I got your little gift."

He gestured towards the staff sticking through the window. He was making light of everything that's been happening. Team RWBY especially didn't like that.

Cowlick: "You didn't say anything about the one staying with us being the one that tried to kill my sister and Blake!"

Stele: "Do you know how hard it was to control myself? It was hard just to not kill them! If you had given me even the slightest heads up, then I could've made preparations like my mask now."

Cowlick turned to me with a fist raised to me.

Cowlick: "You wouldn't even get the chance to do it!"

Stele: "Don't fool yourself cowlick. I didn't fight back and only defended. When I knocked you on the floor I could've killed you. The Schnee was inches away from a blade. Then the other two are still scared from last time, especially the red hood. But we can always settle this on stage if you want."

Glynda:" That's enough children! Especially you Stele."

Ozpin:" Yes, settle down. I'm guessing you were never formally introduced to one another. Well, Stele meet team RWBY. Leader Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao-Long. Team RWBY, this is Stele and he is the one you will be accommodating."

Stele: "I knew it! You purposely put me in the room with Schnee didn't you!"

Weiss: "Excuse me? What did I do?"

Ozpin: "That isn't for me to explain."

Ozpin gestured to me, making everyone turn towards me.

Stele: "Why should I explain my story to any of you? I don't even know or trust you people, and the ones I thought I could, made this all happen right now. But if you want to know, why don't you go find my arm? That will give you some answers."

Ruby: "You lost your arm at the docks... After..."

Stele: "Oh? Red hood can actually talk. I thought you were too scared to."

Yang: "Hey! Leave my sister alone!"

Yang stepped in front, as Ruby back away.

Stele: "She's a huntress in training, she shouldn't need coddling. And if you're referring to the green Atlas one that took my arm off. She'll be fine."

Ruby: "But her arm..."

Stele: "Well I missed what I was aiming for. If the green one hadn't gotten me injected, then I wouldn't have missed."

Ozpin: "Please, could we get back on topic?"

Stele : "What topic? That I'm supposed to share a room with a Schnee? Or you have other secrets you're keeping?"

Ozpin: "I assure you Mr Stele. There are no secrets here."

I looked him in the eyes at his lie.

Stele: "Ozpin, I'm not blind. I can see."

The room was silent as he took another drink from his mug. We just looked at each other. The tension was was broken by the orange girl.

Orange: "Awwwwkward."

Everyone turned to her now.

Ozpin: "Well, let's introduce you to your neighbors. Team leader Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Lie Ren, and your secondary supervisor Pyrrha Nikos."

Stele: "You mean my secondary babysitter. You never said my main one, but let me guess, it's Schnee?"

Ozpin: " Why yes, she is your main supervisor."

Stele: "Of fucking course! This is all a joke to you isn't it? You also didn't say anything about needing a scroll to enter the dorm rooms, something I won't get until after the trial week. I doubt they will let me into the room. You know what. I'm done with this meeting."

As I walked past Ozpin I whispered to him.

Stele: "I can see the large underground room."

I pulled my staff out of the window and looked at Glynda.

Stele:" I hope your telekinesis can also fix broken windows."

After saying my piece, I jumped out the window. As I was falling I threw the staff into the tower below me. I grabbed it and spun myself to stand on top of it as I shifted the wall around the staff to bring me down. It didn't take long for me to reach the bottom. I took my staff out, closed the hole and made my way to the dorms.

I sat against the wall beside team RWBY's door. They had more to talk apparently, because it took about another hour for them to come back to the room. I watched as team JNPR entered there room, but they kept the door open to watch me.

Stele: "I'll ask this once. Will you let me into the room?"

They didn't answer me. They didn't even acknowledge me as they all walked in and closed the door.

Jaune: "Stele, if you want you can sleep in here with us."

Nora: "Oooh! We will have the monster in here? How horrifying."

Ren: "Ignore her Stele. We've heard some of what happened at the docks. Nora just blows things out of proportion a lot."

Stele: "No thank you Faux. I was assigned to team RWBY's room. So I'm not going into another team's room."

Jaune: "The names Jaune though."

Stele: "I know. No one has given me a reason to use their names. You had a bunny on your sweater when we met, but I already have someone named bunny. Anyways, I'll be on the roof."

(Finally done posting about the "First Day". Some reason I had "First Day" broken up into so many parts. Right now no other chapter is broken up into so many parts, but they aren't exactly 1-2 parts either. I can finally continue the current chapter I'm at. Hope any one reading has enjoyed so far. )
