Pyrrha just stared at me, as all of our stuff lay in the air between us. She took her weapons, as I attached my cuff arm and placed forge onto the bench beside us.
Pyrrha: "So, why did you say you were defeated?"
Stele: "Because I was. Is there another reason beside that?"
I needed the topic to change from this. I opened up forge to get my uniform and seen the cookies inside still.
Stele: "Aww. They're all broken now. But I'm sure she won't mind."
Pyrrha: "What's broken? Stele what's all this?"
I quickly closed the forge. I wasn't sure if she was able to see the rat poison in it. I really need to do something with it soon.
Stele: "What is what exactly?"
Pyrrha: "You fought with all of this on you still?"
She was pointing at the smashed box of cookies and books.
Stele: "Oh that. Yeah, I keep all my stuff in the forge, even when I fight with it."
Pyrrha: "Why don't you put it all away somewhere?"
Stele: "Kitty asked the same thing, so I'll give generally the same answer. It boils down to there being too many unknowns for my future."
She nodded her head in some sort of understanding. She went to her side of the lockers as we started to get changed. I was a bit slow on changing and everything. Forge was also feeling rather heavy on my back. I needed a smoothie or something from the diner of something.
Pyrrha: "I still don't understand why you say you lost."
I guess the topic couldn't change for forever.
Stele: "What is there to not understand? I said I lost."
She walked around the corner as I was getting my mask back on. She was rubbing her neck with her left hand and rubbing her left forearm with her right hand.
Pyrrha: "I Was losing the ability to do anything. I know you told me before, but I didn't think it would be this effective."
I could see the red marks on her arm and neck that she was rubbing. It was caused from connecting with the metal she wore during the fight and slowly tightening it.
Stele: "It's also too effective. I was getting angry during the match, which would've ended badly. It was a spar not a death match. It really should've ended when I couldn't get my metal anymore."
Pyrrha: "But why didn't you let me admit defeat?"
Stele: "You are the Invincible girl. Which would make people feel better? That the Invincible girl beat the big bad wolf? Or that not even she could stop him?"
She looked to be thinking it over, but the class was ending. I left the locker room and saw our teams waiting for us at the door. Team JNPR were telling me how I fought well and the such. They were still waiting for Pyrrha to come out, so the rest of went on ahead of them.
Yang: "So you can lose after all. I can't believe Weiss missed it."
Blake: "It looked like a close match though."
As they were talking about It, I grabbed Ruby's cape and pulled her back to me. After a slight panic from her, she realized it was me and settled down.
Ruby: "What's wrong Stele?"
Stele: "Could you... use your semblance for me a bit?"
She didn't even question it. She just quickly circled around me, landing with a smile in front of me.
