Having my Aura fill up through the night had me feeling better. The facility was filled with metal objects, but some of them were starting to rust. Though it was a pain I did find enough metal after searching though the rooms, I finally had another cuff arm.
Stele: "Like it?"
I held it out to show it off, except Fonti was too busy looking at the screens of information.
Stele: "Yeah, you're right. It's not the same as the real thing. Things really turned to shit after you left..."
I let out a long yawn and wiped my tired face. I've been staring at the monitors for hours now, with nothing much to do besides play with a new metal I found in their armory, which was already pretty barren. Rolling the block of silverish white metal in my hand I looked towards Fonti again, except she wasn't looking at the monitors anymore. Looking around a bit I found her crouched next to Weiss as she slept on the bed.
"What of sleeping beauty here?"
I watched her continuously poke her in the face. I had been dragging her and the bed through out the facility. Well, half drag and half rolling her through out I should say. Before I was able to look for the metal for a new arm, I had to figure out how to actually move around while being attached to her as she slept on the bed. The solution was obvious, take the whole bed with me, so to do that I shifted the bottom of the metal legs into wheels as as I could. It should've been easy from their, just slowly move the bed around and position it just right to get into room, but no that wasn't the hard part. Instead what was hard was keeping her asleep and safe on the bed.
Fonti was now poking her forehead and laughing to herself. Yeah, apparently she tends to roll a bit when asleep. So, at one point while I had moved in front of the bed to get through a doorway she rolled and hit the doorframe. Luckily she slept through it, somehow. Though her sleeping through that only after a day of exhaustion, how would I fare after a few days worth?
Stele: "We wait for her to wake up. So until then we continue looking through the computer. Especially the struggle of others on the island."
Through messing with the computer some more, I found the surveillance system. The monitors showed most of the island with others taking part of the event. I've been checking it through out the night but it didn't seem like The Forge was ever dropped in or picked up. A few of them were running away from the threats of mercs or the occasional Grimm. Most enjoyable was watching Jaune run away from just about everything there was. He ran around with what looked like a stick broken in three, how he stayed in for so long I don't know. Several other people were visible on the screen; Ruby slept while the Monkey used his tail to hang from a tree with a trident in hand, the group I came in with had the monk watching over as the other two slept, interesting but not surprising is that that Pyrrha had quite a few others with her.
Weiss: "Stele-Ah!"
My arm was yanked down as she rolled off the bed and onto our connected arms. Though it was a pain having to help lift her in our awkward position, it did give an excuse to what happened earlier.
Weiss: "That hurt! Wha...How are we even here? Why aren't we in the bedroom?!"
Stele: "I dragged you here. I wasn't going to spend the whole night just sitting next to you as you slept. What? Do you always have someone just sit next to you as you slept at home?"
Weiss: "No! I can sleep just fine thank you very much. I just don't enjoy being moved without consent, which is kidnapping by the way!"
I turned back towards the monitors and watched the others again.
Stele: "It wouldn't be the first time I've done that, it probably won't be the last, and it is certainly not the worst thing I've done..."
Fonti was now up on the desk and walking back and forth. Even if she wasn't distracting me I could still see or rather couldn't see what I was looking for. Those that were sleeping were waking up, yet I couldn't see Blake on any monitor. One of the monitors now showed Yang with some sort wrist mounted saw blades and Nora was with her with Cardin's mace.
