Yang: "What was your reason for warping the silverware then?"

Stele: "That? It was because you made me realize something."

Yang: "And that is?"

Stele: "That I may be 'Free' but every day here has been hard because of you girls."

Yang: "It's hard because of us? What about we have to deal with because of you?!"

Stele: "Please, tell me how I make things hard for you."

Yang: "Besides the threat of you possibly attacking us? Well..."

She was heated up, but she had nothing to go off of. I hadn't truly done anything to them.

Stele: "You've got nothing besides that right? Now, shut up and eat your food."

She angrily took a bite out of her hamburger. I just smiled as she didn't have anything. I could see Neo smiling to herself as well. After eating a little, she decided to continue on the topic.

Yang: "Then what about you? How do we make it hard for you?"

I took another bite. I couldn't believe she was honestly asking me this.

Stele: "I was thinking you would say you were kidding or something, guess not. Well, counting the day from the docks, today is day nine. Day one, I am freed from my box and fight Little Red, and Kitty losing an arm. Day two I wake up in another little prison and get told I will go to Beacon or return to whence I've come. Day three team CRDL tries to bully me where I kick their ass, later I am attacked by team RWBY and have to defend. Day four, I fight you and take a bullet through my fucking abdomen. Day five, you accost me for having a metal box I worked for. Day six, I have to save your team from a group of paladins."

She didn't have anything to say. Instead, she threw a fry at me.

Yang: "I get it. So shut up now."

At least she gets that I have it harder. We ate in relative silence, only occasional notification from our scrolls, telling us we don't have to talk to one another. Besides the usual messages from the girls of team CFVY, and Neo sitting across the room, Blake had now started messaging me.

Blake: "Are you behaving yourself?"

Stele: "Yes Mom."

Blake: "Stele."

Stele: "What?"

Blake: "I want to know if everything is going fine with you two."

Stele: "How do you expect it to go between us? She doesn't like me, and I could care less."

Blake: "I want you to at least try. Yang is a good friend, she went out of her way to help me. You should do the same."

Stele: "Like I've said before, I make no promises."

Blake: "Please Stele?"

I let out a sigh which made Yang look at me.

Stele: "I can only try Kitty."

I put my scroll away and finished my fries. Yang also finished her own food soon after.

Stele: "Are we all ready to move on for whatever it is you had for us?"

Yang: "In a moment, I have business to take care of first."

I watched as she went up to the front with Blaire. I didn't need to hear her to know she asked where the restroom was.

Stele: "If you needed the toilet you could've just said so!"

She had already thrown a serving tray toward me, which was easily caught.
