It was later that night when Grace heard a tap on her window. "You know you can come in!" she shouted.

Spider-Man climbed through her window once again, still carefully climbing through and shutting the window as he did just the other night. His visits were becoming frequent.

"How was school?" he asked, wandering around her room.

"Good. Wait, why do you keep coming back?" Grace asked suddenly.

"You said you like when I visit," he shrugged, innocently playing with some of the things on her desk.

Grace looked at his masked face with a grin. "I do, it's just..."

Spider-Man stopped what he was doing and made his way over to Grace.

"I just don't see why you're spending your time with me. Don't you have a city to save?"

Spider-Man laughed. "Yeah, I guess so. But you're fun to talk to. Most solo superheroes don't have people to talk to."

Grace was pretty sure Spider-Man was an Avenger, which made his words make no sense to her.

"What about Iron Man and stuff?"

"Yeah, but no one my age."

"Thought you were an old man."

"Stop saying that or else!" the superhero said, trying to sound intimidating, but just laughing in the process.

"Or else what?" Grace said with a smirk, approaching the spider.

"Or else I'll web you," he said very seriously.

"What does that even mean?" she giggled.

"Call me an old man again and you'll find out," he challenged.

"Old man."

Spider-Man sighed and lifted his hand up. He gently shot a spiderweb at Grace, which pushed her against her bedroom wall. But when she tried to move away from the wall, she quickly discovered that she was stuck.

The web was holding her in place, and she laughed trying to get Spider-Man's attention to unweb her.

Grace felt her breathing get heavier and her heart beat faster as the superhero approached her, leaving almost no space in between them.

"I wasn't joking, Gracie."

Was it just now that she noticed how hot his voice was? Especially when he was pretending to be angry.

"I... um."

He moved his gloved hands to where the web holding her in place was, which also made his hands linger across her waist and her hips. Grace felt her whole body go numb and her whole face go red.

"Want me to help you?"

She couldn't even respond.

"Gracie, you alright?"

"Yeah! Yup, um help me please."

She snapped out of the trance that Spider-Man somehow sent her in. He pulled the webs off her, which made her stumble into him.

In immediate response, Spider-Man caught her in his arms, causing both of them to stare at each other for a few moments. Grace wondered if he was just as flustered as her underneath his mask.

"Uh-sorry," he stuttered.

They noticed that they were still holding onto each other. Spider-Man respectfully let go out her as Grace realized what she was feeling. She tried to fight it. But she was pretty sure she liked Spider-Man. Just a little bit.

They talked for a bit longer before Spider-Man neared the window. "I've got to go. Bye, Gracie."

"Bye!"

He stared at her for a few more moments before swinging out of her window. His web-slinging never failed to amaze Grace.

Just a half an hour later, she received a text from Peter.

grace-goodnight peter!

Grace was on Cloud 9. Peter had said he missed her and that he wanted to hang out tomorrow. This had to be a dream. It was like the thing she was waiting for her whole life.

It was weird that he would say that to another girl while he had a girlfriend, but it had to be in just a friendly way. A guy best friend way.

She found herself stuck in between thoughts about Peter, and thoughts about Spider-Man. What would she wear to go see Peter? And when would Spider-Man visit next?
