Peter Parker was trapped in a jail cell in the Netherlands.

And Grace Tanner was trapped in a dark and locked room in London.

Peter was hit by a train, which took him to the Netherlands, and he was temporarily put in a jail cell. He was making his way to London to stop Mysterio.

But Grace didn't know that. She didn't know where Peter was. She was terrified. Mysterio had taken her, and had thrown her in here.

She wasn't sure why. He claimed that he needed to "take care" of anyone who knew his secret, including anyone Peter had told about him.

Grace expected him to kill her, but Mysterio seemed to think she would be better bait to lure Peter in.

She was alone in the room, trying to find a way to escape, until suddenly someone entered the room, causing her to back up quickly from the door.

Grace began to smile and relax when she saw who it was. It was Peter, unmasked in his black suit.

"You found me. Peter, he's evil. He was going to try and use me as bait-"

Peter moved closer, tilting his head a bit. "I don't think he's evil. Actually, I think he was right this whole time."

Something was off about Peter. He seemed more hostile, and he would never say something like this. Mysterio was the enemy.

Grace made her way to the door and looked over at Peter. "Pete, let's get out of here."

Peter smirked, immediately closing the door and pinning her against it. Grace was taken aback. Peter was usually so gentle...

"You're staying here. You're not leaving."

"W-what?"

Peter looked at her innocently. "Do you not want to be with me? Beck's been right this whole time, I just haven't seen it until now."

Grace reached for the doorknob, but it was locked. Peter aggressively grabbed her face, her back fully hitting the wall this time.

"You're going to die, Gracie."

This wasn't her Peter. She knew that now.

"Get off me."

He held onto her tighter. "You can live if you listen, you know."

Grace took a deep breath, trying to figure out why Peter was acting like this. Was he brainwashed? Was any of this even real? It felt real.

"Peter, please," Grace begged.

He wasn't listening to her. He was acting just like Mysterio would. Evil.

"Why wouldn't you be good for me, baby?"

Peter began to kiss her, running his hands through her hair and never stopping. Grace couldn't resist.

But she noticed as Peter kissed her more, his grip on her tightened. His hands were clasping around her neck, taking her breath away.

Before she could pass out, Peter disappeared and she was alone in the room again. A single drone was there.

That Peter was an illusion. Everything about him felt so real. Her being choked felt so real. Grace began to sob, realizing how much she really needed Peter right now.

All she wanted was to embrace and kiss the real Peter. And she wanted to be safe back in New York City.

Grace wanted this terrible trip to be over.

She was even more terrified when she heard the sounds of loud booms and screaming outside. What in the world was going on?

Her question was soon answered when the door opened with a very real person being revealed this time. It was Mysterio. He had on his helmet and illusion tech suit once again.

"Did you enjoy the little illusion I showed you?" he asked with a smirk.

"You're sick," Grace spat. She didn't enjoy seeing Peter acting like that, acting so aggressive. Just a tiny part of her enjoyed Peter kissing her like that though.

Mysterio grabbed her by the arm, leading Grace through a building and eventually onto an indoor glass bridge that connected two buildings in London.

Grace could now what was going on outside. There was another "Elemental", but it was much larger and destructive this time.

She could see Peter fighting it in a brand new Spider-Man suit. She was overjoyed to see him, but terrified.

He soon exposed Mysterio, revealing millions of little drones instead of any monster at all. He was winning.

As soon as he got close to the building, Grace started yelling. "Peter! Peter, help-"

Mysterio suddenly knocked her to the ground, rope suddenly appearing on her hands. She couldn't tell if that was an illusion too.

The drones around Beck suddenly shut down, and Spider-Man came crashing through the ceiling. He stuck to the top, holding Beck by the throat as he dangled over the broken glass, and Grace who was stuck on the ground. She was in pain.

"Your lies are over Beck," Peter threatened.

"This certainly isn't ideal but... E.D.I.T.H.-"

Peter was blasted across the bridge by the one single drone Mysterio had left.

Peter coughed, walking towards Mysterio. "Give me the glasses. And give me my Gracie."

"You want these? You want the girl? Come and get them."

A bunch of drones suddenly appeared in front of Beck. An illusion appeared so Peter couldn't see where he really was.

"Come on Peter tingle," he mumbled.

Peter took down many of the drones, only a few left. He shot webs and kicked them into nothingness.

Mysterio fell to the ground from the explosions of the drones. Peter ripped his mask off, his eyes falling on the one thing more important than E.D.I.T.H. or even saving the whole city. Grace.

Mysterio and Grace were both on the ground. Beck was against the wall as Peter slowly approached him.

"Beck... you lied to me. And I trusted you."

Beck smirked. "I know. That's the disappointing part. You're a good person, Peter. Such a weakness. You care so much about the girl. Stark was right, you should have these-"

Mysterio extended his hands with the glasses in them, but Peter's tingle made him certain that this was another illusion.

The fake Mysterio disappeared, the real Mysterio holding a gun to Peter, which Peter was also holding. He was preventing Beck from shooting him.

The gun fell out of Beck's hand. "You can't trick me anymore," Peter trembled.

Peter grabbed the glasses and Beck fell to the ground. "E.D.I.T.H. turn off the drones! Do it, execute them all."

He turned to a dying Quinten Beck. "Why did you do all of this?"

"People believe... people need to believe... they believe anything these days."

Those were his last words.

Grace knew she should be focused on helping Peter and herself. But she wasn't once again. Peter had the glasses on, and he has cuts all over his face. His hair was messy, and his suit had burn marks all over it. He looked undeniably good.

The rope disappeared from Grace's hands as she looked up at Peter. He immediately rushed over to her, becoming even more concerned when he saw scrapes on her arms and a bleeding cut on her face.

"Oh, Gracie. Are you alright? I should have protected you. I let you down, I-"

"Peter, you didn't let me down. You're my hero."

Peter helped her up, and the two teens stood close.

"Can I tell you something, Gracie?"

She nodded, looking him up and down. "Anything."

"I love you. I really love you. And I understand if you don't feel the same way-"

"I love you too, Pete."
