They were now on the bridge where lots of the destruction took place, searching for their classmates.

Peter was limping the whole way, and the two had to eventually stop walking because Peter insisted.

"I have something for you."

He pulled out a tiny bag, and what came of that bag was a small flower pendant necklace. The flower was Grace's favorite. It was purple like the ones he gave her on their first date.

It was a little broken, which she assumed happened during the fight with Mysterio. She loved it anyways.

"I'm so sorry, I got it for you in Italy, and I guess it broke... I was going to give you it at the top of the Eiffel Tower but, yeah..."

He was stuttering as he put the necklace around Grace's neck. "Peter, I love it."

She pulled him in and the their lips touched gently. This was what she had been longing for since forever.

To be with Peter. They were made for each other. She never expected to be dating a vigilante, but she loved Peter no matter what he was.

And in Grace's eyes, it was a bonus. Yes, dating Spider-Man is dangerous; but it's exciting. Especially since the hero was slowly making her fall for him too. But he was Peter all along.

Grace's eyes fluttered open, looking directly into Peter's eyes. They broke apart, both smiling ridiculously.

"You know, I'm really glad I was apart of all of this Peter. The Elementals were terrifying, but it was worth it since this was what came out of it."

Peter blushed. "M-me too. I never thought you liked me back, Gracie."

Grace was surprised that he didn't suspect it. She made it quite obvious. But she didn't really notice that Peter liked her back either.

The two stared at each other, when Peter finally made the move neither one of them wanted to make.

"I should probably go change out of this. I'll meet up with you and the rest of the class soon?"

Grace nodded, her fingers playing with the necklace Peter got her. She loved the small gesture so much. Things like that mattered to her. She knew she would treasure this necklace forever, and likely wear it everyday.

"Yeah, o-ok."

Peter looked at Grace one last time before walking off. "I love you."

She couldn't get over this. "I love you, Peter."

The rest of the class approached Grace, Betty immediately falling into her arms. Grace squeezed her best friend tight, not even realizing how worried she must have been.

"Where were you?" Betty whispered.

"I was with Peter. I uh, went to visit his family with him."

It felt so wrong to lie to Betty. They used to not have any secrets. Maybe Betty already knew about Spider-Man, but she wouldn't risk it.

This was a secret that Grace needed to protect with her life.

She came face to face with her teachers.

Both Mr. Harrington and Mr. Dell were both worried at Grace and angry at her. Of course they were glad that she was alive, but not so glad that her and her boyfriend abandoned their class trip overnight.

"I assume Peter's coming?"

Right on time, Peter came running up behind Grace. "I'm here," he said out of breath.

"We will have to talk about the consequences of both of your actions when we get back," Mr. Harrington said.

He was trying to be intimidating, but it just wasn't working. Peter and Grace nodded, looking at their teachers and then back at each other.

"Alright! Everyone's here now, I hope! Let's head to the airport!" Mr. Harrington announced enthusiastically.

"That was one interesting trip," Mr. Dell muttered.

Grace and Peter held hands, walking to the airport behind the rest of their class.

Grace didn't expect her class trip to go like that all. But she was glad it went the way it did. Although she was a bit traumatized from Mysterio holding her hostage and almost killing her with a fake lava monster.

Now everything was ok. She was safe with Peter always, her Spider-Man.
