The city of Prague was having a Carnival of Lights. Decorations were almost everywhere, and there were stands to buy things at, and there were even rides.

Anything you would find at a typical carnival, but cooler. Fireworks went off every so often, and the Ferris Wheel's colors were glowing in the darkness of the night.

Grace thought it was a perfect date for her and Peter.

Although, she wasn't sure what they were after last night. After they shared an intense kiss, Peter just disappeared.

Grace on her cute outfit, making her way downstairs to where Mr. Harrington told the class to meet.

As soon as she entered the area, she was handed glow stick jewelry to celebrate the Carnival of Lights.

Her eyes met Peter's. He immediately went to her side, giving Ned a look. Surprisingly, his hand was touching her back, rubbing it a little bit.

Betty's eyes widened, gasping at her best friend.

Grace blushed. Ok, Peter definitely liked her too.

Mr. Harrington suddenly had a big smile on his face. "Good news, we're going to the Opera!"

Even Mr. Dell looked like he wanted to throw up.

The whole class was visibly annoyed. There went Grade's idea of a date with Peter. First Paris gone, and now this.

"What happened to the carnival?" MJ asked.

"This is an upgrade, come on guys. The tour company just gave us these tickets. For free! Do you have any idea how much Opera tickets cost?"

Peter was trying to give an encouraging nod to Ned.

Flash crossed his arms. "No, because none of us have ever wanted to go to the Opera. EVER."

Ned, who had a glow stick necklace on his head, faked a smile. "I think this is going to be culturally enriching for us!"

Grace gave him an odd look, wondering why he would ever be excited about sitting through an Opera performance for hours.

"Thank you Ned. This is possibly going to be the best four hours of our trip."

"Four hours?!"

The class had to walk through the festival to get to the theater the Opera was being shown in. Grace longingly looked at the rides and fireworks, wishing she could stay here with Peter forever.

She walked beside them, slightly further behind the rest of the class.

"So, why did you disappear in Venice? Was it because you were being Spider-Man?" Grace questioned.

"Yeah. I had to go help out the Mysterio guy. He's  actually really cool. His real name is Quinten Beck. The thing that attacked us is an 'Elemental'" Peter explained.

Grace listened with full interest. For some reason, she didn't fully trust Mysterio.

Before they could talk any further, the class entered the theater. Grace was now in a dress, and Peter was in a suit. He looked really nice, which Grace wanted to make sure to tell him.

The theater was almost entirely empty.

"You look really pretty," Peter complimented.

He beat her to it. She blushed hard.

"You look... really pretty too. Do you want to sit next to each other?"

Peter combed his hair with his hands and moved closer awkwardly. He didn't seem like he was going to say yes, which disappointed Grace.

"I-I can't. I'm not going to stay to watch the Opera."

"What, why?"

"I'm just going to tell you the truth, Gracie. The only reason our class was sent to Prague was because Nick Fury- I'll explain who he is later- needed me to come here to deal with another possible Elemental attacking. I have to be out there in case it comes."

This news shocked Grace. Peter was going to go out and risk his life to protect everyone. She knew he was Spider-Man, but she didn't realize Spider-Man did crazy things like this.

She guessed he actually wasn't a friendly neighborhood hero anymore.

And what Peter just told her didn't just mean he would be in danger. Everyone would. They could get attacked by another monster at any moment.

She figured anyone from her class, including her, would sneak away from the Opera at some point out of boredom.

"I'm sorry, Gracie. I have to protect you."

He began to leave, but Grace just followed like a puppy.

"I'm coming with you."

"You can't. You'll get hurt. I can't loose you."

Grace nodded, hugging him goodbye. Peter left her alone, but she want going to be alone for long. She was going to that carnival. And she was going to follow Peter.
