The water monster was gone. Some hero by the name of "Mysterio" defeated it. Grace had seem him for a split second, his hands were glowing with green energy and he wore a fishbowl style helmet and a cape.

Grace had been absolutely drenched until Flash gave her one of the towels he packed.

She didn't really want to accept anything from him, but she figured it would just be easier to.

The class and teachers stood in the lobby of the hotel, trying to process what had just happened.

Grace was furious that Peter just left her, Betty and Ned like that. She had disagreed to seperating, and he forcefully made her go to safety. Being safe was the logical thing, but not when one of her best friends and crush was in danger.

Anyone could imagine her shock when Peter walked down the stairs of the hotel, dressed in a new dark outfit that complimented him and his dark eyes perfectly.

Grace's first thought was that he looked amazing, and her second thought was just internal screaming at him.

"Peter?" she gasped.

Grace looked over at Ned, who didn't look surprised that Peter was alive in the slightest.

Peter put his phone in his pocket, clearly just getting off a call with someone. When he entered, they were talking about Mysterio. Flash argued that Spider-Man was much better, and Grace couldn't disagree.

She tried to ignore Peter's stare, still mad at him.

"Why are you so obsessed with Spider-Man?" MJ asked.

Flash looked at her as if he was offended. "He protects the neighborhood, and you know, he's inspring," he defended.

"I'm actually going to agree with Flash for once," Grace said with a laugh,

"Why?" MJ asked with a small smile.

She was pretty sure helping MJ out during the water monster's attack helped reform their friendship and respect for each other in a way. Although she wasn't a fan of what MJ did to her, she missed having the humorous girl for company.

"He's honestly amazing. He's really funny and sweet."

"Anything else?"

Grace couldn't control it; it just kind of slipped out. "And he's a good kisser," she blurted.

What had she just said? She looked over at Peter for a moment, who seemed to be going through his own crisis. His face was burning red, and his lips were curved into an "o" shape.

"Dude! What?" Ned yelled, loud enough for anyone in Venice to hear.

"You kissed Spider-Man?" Flash repeated.

Thankfully, Grace's teachers were in a different room.

Betty smiled at her best friend. "Go you! But why didn't you tell me again?"

"What?" Brad said, standing very close to MJ once again.

Everyone was freaking out, and everyone knew about her first kiss now. All because Grace couldn't keep her mouth shut.

"I-you kissed Spider-Man?" Peter stuttered.

Grace was really hoping that he wouldn't say anything. This made things even more complicated. The two boys she liked; one with "no face" and the other being her best friend, knew about each other.

Flash smirked, leaning over to look at Peter. "Parker, I thought you drowned."

"Yeah, me too," Grace interupted, looking at Peter dissaprovingly.

"Yeah, it was scary. I was really worried about everyone, especially you, Gracie."

Grace rolled her eyes a bit.

Flash was just as annoyed, likely because of his obvious liking for Grace. "Piss off, Peter."

Grace was leaning against the wall. Peter ignored Flash, making his way over to her and taking his spot next to her. Their other classmates were talking, occasionally still about the fact that Grace kissed Spider-Man.

Peter turned around, now facing the shorter girl. "I'm sorry for earlier. I just couldn't let you get hurt."

Grace sighed, knowing that Peter was telling the truth. He was just trying to protect her. But he didn't understand one thing; she needed to protect him too. She couldn't let anything happen to him either.

"But where did you go after you brought me to safety?" Grace questioned.

"I... I went to go make sure some of our other classmates were ok. And then I kind of was chased by the water monster."

"Always playing the hero, Peter," Grace teased, smirking a little bit.

He froze a little bit when she said that. "I'm glad that I'm your hero," he said, now confident.

"And about Spider-Man... Trust me, Peter, I'm not dating him. A superhero would never be that serious about me," she said with a smile.
