The plane had just landed. Peter and Grace entered the airport hand in hand, searching for Ned and Betty before finally returning to their families.

Grace spotted Betty, calling the other pair over.

"You guys are so cute," Betty said with a smirk directed at Grace.

Ned was beside her. Peter looked over at Grace. "Thanks. Uh, I was thinking that we should all go on a double date or something." He was practically bouncing as he suggested that.

Betty and Ned looked awkward, glancing at each other. "Oh, we broke up," they said almost in sync.

Grace's smile faded. She was really happy for the both of them. Based off what Betty told her, she seemed to really like Ned.

"What? Why?"

Ned sighed. "Men and women grow apart, but the journey they share together will always be a part of them."

Betty nodded in agreement, her hand touching Ned's face. "You are so wise."

Based off that single gesture, anyone would of guessed they were still together. Especially since they stood so close together.

Betty seemed to spot her family. "I've got to go, cya guys!"

Her and Grace hugged as Betty skipped away. Ned soon followed after her to see his family as well.

That just left Peter and Grace. Until Flash came over to them, not having it at all.

"So you two are dating now?"

"Yeah," Peter confirmed.

"Gross. Why are you actually with this loser now, Grace?"

Grace felt even more defensive over Peter than she was before. She looked Flash dead in the eyes, restraining herself from yelling at him or just punching him straight in the face.

He always hated Peter for no good reason. He was funny, but he took it too far often.

"Because I can be with whoever I want to, Flash. And I love Peter, not you."

Grace almost gasped at the words that came out of her mouth. She wasn't sure if she was too harsh. She probably wasn't, but she usually didn't get angry at people like that.

Well, maybe besides that time with MJ.

Flash nodded, quickly scrambling away to his dad who was holding a sign. He looked upset, and Grace even heard him ask why his mother couldn't make it.

"I kind of feel bad for him," Peter admitted.

Grace shrugged. "Me too, but he's nothing but mean to you. You shouldn't feel bad. You're the sweetest, Peter."

He was blushing again. "Aw, thanks."

Peter seemed nervous, taking a deep breath before inching closer to Grace. "Can I ask you something?"

She nodded. "Anything."

"And y-you'll be honest?"

"Of course."

"You know I'm Spider-Man now, Gracie. Do you still like me?"

Grace couldn't even believe what Peter was asking. Nothing would change her mind about loving him.

"Are you crazy, Peter? I'm in love with you and I always will be."

"What if I put you in danger again?"

Grace smiled before giving him a quick and sweet kiss. "It would be worth it," she whispered.

A group of adults approached the teens, stern looks on some of their faces. It was Grace's mom, Annalise, and her father, William.

Beside her parents was Aunt May. She immediately embraced her parents without even saying anything. A tear fell from Annalise, a smile from William.

Peter couldn't believe his eyes when he saw May. He embraced her even tighter as May squealed a bit.

Both of their guardians were saying similar things. "I'm so glad you're ok!"

Once everyone had some time to reconnect with their families, Grace's parents turned to Peter and May.

"Peter, it's nice to finally meet you. We were just talking with your aunt," William greeted.

Peter shook his hand, unsure what to do. He was swearing. Grace giggled, finding it adorable how scared he was to talk to her dad.

"Are you two finally together?" May whispered.

Peter looked back. "May!" he whisper-shouted.

"Sorry, sorry."

Grace looked at her parents. "But yeah, he's my boyfriend."

Annalise nodded. "He seems very sweet."

The adults talked, Peter and Gracie embracing one more time. They knew that they would see each other again soon.

They could barely go a day without each other, let alone weeks or a whole summer. They wanted to spend every possible moment with each other.

Grace knew that this would be the best summer of her life.

"Bye, Gracie. I love you."

"Bye Peter! Love you!"

They waved as they both got into separate cars to drive home from the airport.
