Grace wasn't really sure how she ended up in the back of Nick Fury's car driving through Berlin with Peter by her side.

Peter didn't have his mask on, but he was in his black stealth suit that he had changed into earlier. Grace's only thought was damn, he looked good in black. Especially with his brown curls all messy.

Peter wanted nothing but to protect her. But ever since she found out Peter was Spider-Man, she wanted to help him.

And most importantly, she didn't want to leave him alone.

That's how she somehow convinced him to bring her to Berlin with him. Late in the night, Peter has swung both her and him to the train station, which took them to Berlin.

She didn't want to know how much trouble they would be in.

Nick Fury looked back at the two teens. "This is your girlfriend, Peter?"

"Uh-um, yes sir."

"Why did you bring her here and put her in danger?"

Peter seemed to be wondering why he actually did put Grace in danger like this.

"I-she really wanted to come. And I didn't want to leave her."

Grace smiled. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Fury. I'm Grace... Gracie Tanner."

The car came to a stop, and Peter helped Grace climb out. Peter put his mask on, and she felt very overwhelmed walking through a gigantic headquarters building with Nick Fury and her boyfriend.

They entered a conference room where a woman with short hair and a black uniform stood.

"So is there anything you want to tell us about E.D.I.T.H.?"

"Look, I know I made a mistake and I'm sorry, but he is not who you think he is. Beck is a liar. Mysterio, the Elementals, it's all fake. He has some sort of illusion tech which is how he tricked me into giving him E.D.I.T.H."

Grace pulled out the small projector from her bag and handed it to Peter, who slid it onto the glass table.

"It's a projecter. It came from the fire monster in Prague."

Fury sighed. "So all that death and destruction we witnessed was created by this."

Peter shook his head, trying to figure out how to explain all of this. "No, not just this. I think he's using drones."

Fury leaned against the table. "If this is true, he's very dangerous and we need to be smart. Who else did you tell about this?"

Peter looked over at Grace. "Well I told- wait- it's Beck, he's here."

Grace was clinging onto Peter at this point. "Pete, what's happening-"

The room suddenly shifted. This whole place must have been an illusion too. Fury and the girl were suddenly shot, blowing them out of the way.

The impact of the drone shots made Grace tumble through the building, Peter immediately coming to her rescue, both of them falling to the ground at the last floor of the building.

They were laying on the ground, groaning in pain, but still in each other's arms.

Mysterio's voice suddenly echoed through the room, and drones surrounded the two of them. "Wow, Peter. Mysterio always had to die. But you didn't. I tried to help you walk away, but now you're making me do this."

Grace was terrified, and she stood behind Peter who was looking around him, his hands out, preparing to shoot Beck the second he revealed himself.

"And I see you brought your girlfriend with you, Peter. That wasn't so smart. Because whoever knows, has to die."

Peter was suddenly somewhere that wasn't where he was before. It was all black with green smoke. Mysterio was walking towards him. "You told me you were just a kid."

Peter was back in his red and blue suit. He tried to shoot webs at Mysterio, but it didn't work. He just walked towards him menacingly.

Mysterio then appeared on his other side, and Peter tried to punch him, but he just hurt himself.

"You told me you wanted to run after that girl."

"Help me!" Grace's voice echoed, and Peter immediately ran towards the sound of it, terrified for her.

He found her in the midst of this crazy illusion, random buildings including the Eiffel Tower scattered everywhere in this black void.

Grace stood there in front of him. "Peter, what's going on?"

Peter looked around. "I know this isn't real!"

Mysterio appeared behind Grace, choking her with green magic. "Do you though?"

"Gracie!" Peter dove after her as Mysterio threw her over the ledge, but he was too late. And now they were both falling further into the void.

But Grace was gone.

Mysterio's voice was still loud and echoing. "I don't think you know what's real."

Suddenly, Peter was being launched in very direction. He landed in front of a Queens building, but a giant fist catapulted him through broken glass and webs.

He suddenly came back to reality, landing on a car. Peter looked around, realizing that whole thing was an illusion. He was somewhere in Berlin, and all of that was created with Mysterio's drones.

Peter rolled over, breathing heavily and looking over his shoulder, trying to find Mysterio. But he was sucked back into that black void again.

Glass shards landed on every side of him, as he looked at himself in the reflections. Was Gracie ok? That was all he could worry about.

"I mean, look at yourself," Mysterio chuckled.

Thousands of other Spider-Mans began to attack Peter, which he tried to fight off.

"You are just a scared little kid in a sweatsuit!"

Peter's stark suit suddenly turned into his original sweatsuit he made from scratch when he first became Spider-Man.

"I created Mysterio to give the world someone to believe in! I control the truth; Mysterio is the truth!"

Peter looked at the giant statue of Mysterio that was in front of him, the "real" Mysterio suddenly appearing behind him, and blasting power at him.

They fought, but Peter's webslinging was useless. All at once, a bunch of objects fell on him. He was being chased by an army of Mysterio clones. He ran and hit his head.

Peter suddenly woke up in reality again.

He was lying in the middle of the street, authorities' cars surrounding him, and Nick Fury walking towards him.

He stood up, relieved to be out of that nightmare and with someone he trusted.

But where was Gracie?

"Who did you tell about Mysterio? I know you told someone. Didn't you tell the girl?"

"I told Gracie and Ned. That's it. Well, maybe Ned told his girlfriend, Betty. And I think MJ might have figured it out. But that's it."

Fury crossed his arms and smirked. "You are so... dumb."

"What?"

"You're smart, just a sucker. Now all your friends have to die. And your precious little Gracie."

Fury transformed into Mysterio, who was in an illusion tech suit. He had Grace in a chokehold, who looked at Peter helplessly.

"Gracie! Let her go, Beck! I'm begging you, anyone but her... please."

As Mysterio moved forward, Peter stumbled backwards, falling onto train tracks. And then a train came and hit him. He was gone.

Grace screamed, covering her mouth in horror. "Peter! Pete-"

Beck slapped a hand over her mouth and looked down at her. "It's a shame I'll have to kill you. You just couldn't keep yourself away from Peter, huh?"
