The class set off to explore Venice. Grace had just waved a goodbye to Betty, who had told her she was going out in the water with her new boyfriend.

She watched her and Ned climb onto the boat, and then set off to find Peter. Grace didn't have to look very far.

He exited a jewelry shop, and was startled to see her. Peter must of ended up buying something, because there was a small bag in his hands.

"What's in the bag?" Grace asked with a smile.

"Um, uh, nothing. Just a little souvenir," he stuttered.

Grace accepted his answer, but it seemed like he was hiding something. She started working and motioned for Peter to follow.

"What do you think of Italy?" Grace said, admiring the beautiful view around them as she walked.

"It's great. And it's really nice. And uh, you look really nice." He looked at Grace with a flustered face. "Sorry."

Grace blushed in return, her hand brushing against Peter's. "Thank you. Probably because I'm wearing your jacket."

Peter didn't even notice at first that Grace was still wearing his jacket. "You can keep it."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, no problem."

Grace noticed a really scenic spot, and suddenly stopped Peter. "Let's get a picture of us!"

She pulled out her phone and snapped a picture of her and the boy. Peter looked at her phone, and smiled as soon as he saw the picture of him and Grace close together.

"Send that to me, Gracie, please."

Grace nodded, scanning the water for boats. She saw Betty and Ned in the distance and waved. And then an idea clicked in her head.

"We should go out on a boat together," she suggested.

"You'd want to?" Peter said nervously.

"Yeah, that's why I asked, idiot."

Peter laughed as Grace headed to one of the boat docks. Peter began to notice something; there was a strange current moving through the water, and the water was beginning to rise up and pour onto the walkways.

Something was moving through the water, and it wasn't anything natural or normal.

Peter titled his head, looking at the strange occurrences. Soon enough, everybody began to notice.

Peter grabbed Grace's hand, pulling her away from the water.

Suddenly, a humongous burst of water suddenly flew up, the pressure destroying things and beginning to flood the city.

People began to scream, including Grace.

And the closer she looked, she began to notice that the water was forming some kind of monster. And that monster had a head, arms, and everything they did. Just a lot bigger. And made out of water.

His gigantic fist slammed into buildings.

Grace was holding onto Peter in terror. "Oh my god!"

Peter looked into her eyes, trying to stay calm for her. "It's okay. We're going to be fine."

It was hard to say that when people were screaming and running around you as debris flew everywhere.

The water monster suddenly threw a swing full of waves that sent boats flying to the shore. That included Betty and Ned's boat.

"Betty! Ned!"

Grace ran over to the boat, Peter behind her.

She helped her best friend and Ned out of the boat in a panic. "Are you ok?"

Betty quickly nodded, Ned staring at Peter in horror.

Grace suddenly noticed someone else trying to get out of the monster's grasp, but they were stuck under a piece of debris. MJ.

In this moment, Grace didn't care about MJ's hatred towards each other. As soon as she began to run to the girl, she heard shouting from Peter.

"Gracie! Come back!"

She faced MJ, using all of her strength to pry the piece of debris off her. After lord of pushing and lifting, MJ was freed.

"Why'd you do that?" she asked skeptically.

"I wasn't going to let you die, MJ," Grace whispered.

She nodded. "Thank you." And then she began to run with the other bystanders.

This left Grace, Peter, Ned and Betty standing in the middle of the chaos, becoming more nervous as the water monster made it's way towards them.

Ned and Peter were frantically whispering to each other.

Peter suddenly put his hands on Grace's shoulder, trying to calm her down. He looked over at Ned for a second.

"All of you need to get out of her. Ned, take Gracie and Betty!"

Grace looked at Peter, confused. She didn't want to leave him, especially in a moment like this. She needed to know that he was with safe.

They needed to all stick together as friends.

"What? Peter! No! I'm staying with you!" Grace insisted.

She wasn't budging when Ned asked her to come with him and Betty.

"Gracie, please. Be safe for me."

He tried to run off, but Grace just followed. "Are you crazy, Peter? I'm not leaving you alone in all of this!"

"I'm sorry, sweetheart. I really am."

"For what?"

Peter suddenly took her in his arms and practically forced her to separate from him. "Peter!"

The water monster entered the area they were in, and Peter ran in the opposite direction, leaving Grade scared and confused.
