Ninjago Fanfic: The Lightning Serpentine

Chapter 5

A strike of green stabbed onto the middle of the monastery, and a wave of energy shot out from it. By the second, Wu and Acronix both appeared near it, while Jay appeared behind them. "What...?" the ninja started. Wu blocked a kick from Acronix, then he grabbed the time blade and Wu's pocket watch.

"And at 6:01, the battle began again." said Acronix. He turned to the surprised ninja, "You. Begone!" he yelled. Acronix charged towards Jay and punched him with the time blade right before Jay could yell out "Ahhhh!" Then Jay disappeared with a spark of green light.

Jay felt his head spin again, but this time, he couldn't see, it was all black, no light anywhere. "Your teammates abandon you," said a deep, scary voice, "they think you're worthless." "What..?" "They left you in the future, and forgot about you." The voice continued.

"No!" shouted the Lightning ninja. "They will never abandon me! After all these adventures, why should I believe a word you say?!" The voice sighed, then chuckled evilly, "Join us now, or you will end up like someone you think you don't care, but you do."

"What?" Jay was confused, he cared about his teammates, why wouldn't he? And the phrase 'end up' doesn't seem right. He didn't see anyone 'ending up' dying or whatsoever. The weird voice must have sensed Jay's confusion, "It happened in the future." It explained. "End up, how?" asked the ninja. "Dying an unnecessary death, being the hero which nobody honors." replied the evil voice. "Oh! Like I'd care about some random guy like that! Your description implies that this 'guy' was a villain! Why the FSM would I care about a villain?!?!"

"Just wait, you'll see how you would end up....... Unless you join us." After the voice said that, Jay landed on a tree branch. "Huh?" "Jay! We were starting to worry where you are!!" exclaimed Cole, as he filled him up with what happened to Past Nya and Past Kai. "Oh that'ss cool." Jay said. Then he stopped. He didn't seem to talk s's in the weird place where he suspected was the future, but why now?

"All we gotta do to get everything back on track is to deliver Nya to the skeletons." the black ninja continued. The four jumped through branches on the trees and arrived at the Skeletons' camping site. Some of them were sitting around a camp fire, laughing and enjoying the time.

Samukai walked towards them, and spun the nearest skeleton's head. "Hey!" complained the skeleton. "This is no time to celebrate," said Samukai, "we didn't get the girl. How would you like to go back to the Underworld to tell Lord Garmadon that we failed?"

The skeleton (Kruncha?) stood up, and walked toward a tree. "How would you tell Lord Garmadon that we failed?" Kruncha asked back, "Mimimimi!" (No idea what that was). The ninja were on top of the tree Kruncha was leaning on, Kai dropped kidnapped Nya as she screamed and landed on Kruncha, letting his marshmallow fly away.

"Argh!" cried the skeleton, "Huh?" he looked up, there was nobody there. He looked at the bag, confused, and slightly opened it, seeing a tied Nya. "Ah, Samukai? How would you like to go back to the Underworld to tell him we succeeded?" asked Kruncha.

Back in the Underworld, Samukai sat on what looks like a throne. "Master, we have the girl." he said. "Good." responded a deep voice, Past Garmadon said, and laughed evilly as evil masterminds do. Present Garmadon hid behind a pillar, holding his Mega Weapon and waiting for Samukai to leave.

After the numbskull left, Present Garmadon marched toward Samukai's "throne", as Past Garmadon said, "Er! What is the meaning of this?" Present Garmadon was ready, "It is I, your future self!" "How can it be?" asked the shadow. "I know you are searching for the Golden Weapons, and it is because of them that I have gone back in time and stand before you now." said Present Garmadon. "I don't understand." said Past Garmadon, "You have.. Uh, I have four arms."
(Everyone looks at Garmadon's four arms, wonder why)
