Back in the lighthouse, the little robot picked up Julien's bowl and chopsticks, he belched. "Excuse me, but I must say, I had never had such a meal in all my life." he said. "Where did you learn to cook? I never programmed that into you." Julien smiled with satisfaction, "I guess I just picked it up." he was washing the bowl. "Father, if I wanted you to make a change in me, would you?" The Ice Ninja asked. "A change?" "An alteration." "Heh, but Zane, you're perfect. I could never make you any better than you already are."

"But I see no reason for me to have a memory switch. I happen to like my life and don't want to ever forget you again." Zane walked to the windows. "Don't worry, my son. We'll both never forget." Zane looked at him, and he smiled. "I'm glad you found me." Julien said. Zane hugged him. "I'm glad you made me." Zane said. The Laviathan growled again, the two ran down the stairs and called, "Everyone aboard! It's coming!" A tentacle rose out of the sea, followed by a lot more. "It's here!" Kai pointed. "Get usss outta here, Nya!" Jay yelled. Everyone climbed aboard.

"I hope she's ready!" Nya said, already at the steering wheel. She pulled a lever and the bounty rose and turned in the air, ready to go. "Come on!" she yelled, pulling the lever more backwards. The Laviathan grabbed the bounty and pulled it back. On it, the ninja were like Lego on a toy boat, sliding everywhere. "Lloyd use your elemental powers." Wu said, "As you wish, Sensei. 'Ah, your powers. Let's see what this little Green Ninja can do' said the weird voice from the lighthouse. "Release us, you monster!" Lloyd yelled, shooting a ball of green light to hit the Laviathan, but instead of growing and making the Laviathan let go, the winds seemed to blow it away.

"What's happening?!" Kai yelled. Lloyd looked at his hands, "Huh?" 'It's only doing its duty, trapped here to work for a bonehead, yet you call him a monster?' the voice asked, now having a big laugh. GET OUT OF MY MIND!!! Lloyd mentally yelled. Zane looked down, seeing chains. "It's chained!" he yelled, climbing and ready to dive. "Zane! What are you doing?!" Julien asked. "The Laviathan won't let us leave. I think I know a way I can help." Zane replied. lBut you can't jump in. These oceans are filled with Starteeth." Julien ran bellow deck where his son was. "I know." Zane dived in the water. "Zane, no!" The inventor called.

As the Ice Ninja dived in the water, he saw the thick chains that was chaining the Laviathan. He swam down and got some Starteeth, and set them to eat the chains. He swam up, ready to go back to the surface. In the air, the Laviathan was still holding the Bounty with the Ninja screaming all over the place. As Zane was about to go on the surface, the big thing was pulling the Bounty in the water. "HELP!" Lloyd called, immediately getting the feedback. 'Oh, the great Green Ninja couldn't help himself.'

Finally, the chains broke, and the Laviathan let go of the ship. "It let us go!" Kai said, "What happened?" Julien got up. "Zane released the Laviathan, and now it's letting us go." Lloyd explained, hearing the voice laughing. "But where is my son?" the inventor asked as Zane climbed aboard. "I'm here, father." Zane smiled. "Zane!" Julien ran to him and embraced him. "How did you know if you freed it from captivity, it would let us go?" Wu asked. "Because no one deserves to be held captive, not even a monster."

A tentacle rose from the sea again, and blinked in happiness. "Farewell, creature from the sea. Enjoy your freedom." Zane said. Lloyd was happy, but something is affecting his mood. 'No one deserves to be held captive, huh? You don't know how many creatures are held captive, how they are yearning for a second chance! And now you say it like you know? Who do you think you are?' The voice said. Just shut up, Lloyd thought. At last, they continued their journey to the Dark island, only to know that things are gonna get much, much worse.

—Time skips—
"Haha, look what you've become, a monster." Lloyd mused. "Yeah, you think that we would ever want a Serpentine with us?" Zane teased. "Yeah, everything that we did together, and you, didn't tell us!" Kai yelled, shoving Jay backwards. The Serpentine hit the ground. "No! Don't!" Jay yelled. The three started to kick, step, and punch him. "Hit him with all you've got! He's a monster, we can't hurt a mindless beast!" Cole laughed from behind. "Ah!" Jay was punched in the face, now that hurt. He tried to Hypnotize them, but they just keep fighting him. Zane operated metal fists. "Ssssince when can you do that?! Ahh!" Jay yelled, getting kicked. "Step aside" Zane laughed, then punched Jay in the stomach, making him fly backwards, landing hard. Lloyd shot his energy ball and Jay flew much further. And Kai, the most painful one yet, kicked him in the crouch. "Owww!" Tears ran his eyes in pain.

Cole, with his super strength, kicked him so head that he flew up and hit a tree before falling. The others walked back to the bounty, which was sailing away. "No!" the Serpent tried to run after them, but it's no use, they flew away in the bounty, and left him alone.

Jay must have passed out, the moon was still on the sky, he couldn't see the bounty anymore. Without thinking, he bursted through the woods, not knowing where he was going. That is, until he found a military camp, aka Garmadon's camp. The blue ninja froze, what should he do? The ninja left him in the Dark island, the only thing that he can do is prove them right. He broke through the door, and yelled, "I am here to meet the Overlord!" it echoed through the camp, until the ball of gas floated out. "Ah, so you came. You're finally listen when your so-called 'friends' betrayed you. Let me unlock your potential, let me help you discover your true tribe."

Oops
