Back at the museum, Misako opened a door. "Lloyd? Lloyd!" she called. She walked and saw an opened door. Inside, was the Green Ninja sitting on the edge of a creepy hole. "I'd watch your step. That sinkhole doesn't have a bottom, son." she said. "It's where I found the stone warrior." "Ah, 'son'? You've been gone my whole life! There's nothing you can say." said Lloyd. "Well, I'm going to talk anyway." Misako replied. "You wanna know what I've been doing all this time?" she asked, "Long before Sensei Wu ever knew who would become the Green Ninja, I knew it would be you. And I knew you would eventually have to fight your father. I dropped you off at the Boarding School so I could go learn everything I could about the prophecy, in hope of one day preventing the final battle of hood and evil. All this time, son." she turned around and stopped walking, "I've been trying to save you and your father." she continued.
"Long before time had a name," she said, as the rest of the ninja including Wu walked inside the exhibit, "Ninjago was created by the first Spinjitzu Master—" Lloyd cut her off, "Yeah, yeah. We've heard this story a hundred times." "But you've only heard half of it. In Ninjago, there has always been balance between hood and evil. A dragon appeared, "So you know about how the FSM created Ninjago," a guy who had a hat just like Wu does jumped in. "But what if I were to tell you," At the place where the guy, the FSM stood, mountains and trees with a river appeared. "in order for there to light, there must be shadow," on the ground, a creepy darkness appeared. "And within shadow, there is darkness. The blackest of darkness that existed from the very beginning." The creepy darkness thing rises like a purple ghost. "An evil spirit called 'The Overlord'."
"Did you know about this, Sensei?" Zane asked. "I had hoped if I'd kept the secret, that name would never be spoken again." Jay paused, the Overlord was a villain, and what if Jay cared for that villain? Would this Overlord be the hero that was never honored? Would he relate? After he relate, would his friends trust him anymore?
"The balance was at stake," said Misako, the FSM stood on an edge of a hill, facing the Overlord. "And their battle could have gone on for eternity." The Overlord kinda flew away. "Each side powerful, neither could conquer the other." The FSM was still on the mountain, holding a sword. "Until the Overlord created his indestructible warriors," the Overlord was behind some warriors made of stone, and a larger one. "The Stone Army." The Stone Army stood on the land, on with four arms stood in the middle, like he was taking command. "The Spinjitzu Master did what he could," the legendary creator of Ninjago stood there, looking like he was ready to fight. "but he knew he would soon be defeated. So instead of losing the war, he divided Ninjago in two," the First Spinjitzu Master plugged his sword on the land, the land was breaking apart. "And lucky for us," The two divided parts had different colors, one in black, representing the darkness, and one in white, representing the light. "since then there has been no trace of the Overlord or his Stone Army, until my recent discovery."
"So that's why the battle has yet to be decided. It was never finished." said Kai. "But where is this Dark Island?" asked Cole, "I've never heard of it." "Disappeared, I presume. But the legend states that so long as the balance between hood and evil remains even, the overlord shall remain trapped from this world. I have always feared your father's ambition will ultimately lead to shift in the balance. That is why he must be stopped." said Lloyd's mother.
"We have each felt the power of the FSM, passed onto us in the form of the elemental weapons. But now that power has been inherited by the Green Ninja, which is why only Lloyd can defeat the ultimate evil. Or else all of Ninjago will fall prey to its darkness." said Wu. "Leaving you was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. But faced with saving you and the world, I had no other choice." said Misako. Lloyd nodded slightly.
At the new exhibit, where the newly found Stone Warrior was, there were a lot of citizens. "And now, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you this museum's greatest find. It out dates every other piece we have here, found right underneath this very building. I give you..." said the Curator, pulling off the red cloth on the Stone Warrior, "An ancient Stone Samurai Warrior!" "Whoa!" whoaed the tourists. Some venom on the roof dropped down on the Warrior, it gave it color and green eyes like the earlier mint stone warriors. It started to move, and the tourist started to scream. "It's alive!" the yelled, pointing at the massive statue. "Impossible! It just looks lifelike." said the Curator, who was took by the warrior, and thrown to a nearby pillar.
He got up and ran away with the tourists. The warrior growled, it started to attack people. "Have you discovered a way to prevent me from facing my father?" asked Lloyd, who attracted the warrior's attention. "I'm sorry, not yet." said his mother, "But I have reason to believe there's still hope. The door was broken by the warrior, and the ninja gasped. "Whoa! Excuse me? Will somebody please tell me, WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!!!" yelled Jay, pointing to the giant warrior.
"The stone warrior." answered Misako. "The Devourer's venom has awakened him!" yelled Zane. "Oh, great." said Cole, "Kai, take care of him." Kai turned, "Uh... Me?" asked Kai. "Okay, blockhead. Take this!" he said, with Cole simply smiling. Kai charged at the stone warrior, he jumped up, flipped around, and sliced, only to fall and find out that his sword was sliced. "Well, in my mind's eye, I saw that playing out entirely differently." he said. The giant warrior grabbed his left foot.
"The Overlord created his Stone Army from an indestructible material only found on the Dark Island!" said Misako. "Ah. Great. You could've mentioned that earlier." said Kai, who was thrown away by the warrior and landed by breaking a pot from the museum. "Lloyd, use you powers." his uncle directed. Lloyd closed his eyes and focused, a ball of energy was create out of his hands, he shot the energy out of his hands and hit the stone warrior, which created a huge wave of light. The ninja cheered, but behind the green flame, the warrior walked out again, Turing their cheers into gasps. The warrior spoke some gibberish. "Wait a minute, how are we supposed to destroy this thing?" asked Cole. "You can't." replied Misako. The warrior broke through the door frame, and the ninja charged. Zane threw his shurikens and Cole was kicked away. Jay readied his nunchucks and charged, and got hit away. The warrior was about to step on him when he ducked. "Hehe. Easy, big guy. Maybe this is a sign you need to lose a few pounds, hehe." said Kay, who got bonked in the head by the warrior. He slided back and almost fell in the bottomless pit. Wu stuck out his staff to help him up. "Close call." said the Mouth of Lightning. Zane charged again, this time without his weapons, he jumped and everything became in slow-mo. He kicked in midair, his foot hit the warrior's stomach, but got bounced back. From the outside, there were some screaming and yelling and the ninja including Wu and Misako excluding Kai got thrown out the exhibit.
"Ah! This is gonna be much harder than a bunch of bobble-heads, fellas." said Cole. "Yeah, well. Then it's a good thing we're in a museum." said Jay walking towards the broken doorframe. "Why is that?" asked Misako. "'Cause we're all about to become history! Run!" he yelled back, the warrior chased them to another exhibit. "The guy's got a pair of sneakers in him. Pick up the pace!" yelled the Green Ninja. "Go, go, go!" The warrior swung his sword at Lloyd, he ducked as they ran to what looks like a main hall and ran up some stairs.
"Oh man. He's pretty fat for a big guy!" said Kai. They ran into another exhibit and closed the doors, only to find out that doesn't work. They walked backwards and looked at the doors. The warrior was bumping it, which will mean that they still had some time.
"Ah. This thing is unstoppable!" said Cole. "Indestructible, to be precise." added Zane. "That door ain't gonna hold him forever." Kai pointed to the doors. "Then let's style this like men." said Jay, "With Rick, Paper, Clamp. Loser has to face him, so the rest can escape." The four put their fists in the middle, Lloyd added his fist. "Uh-uh! Not you, chosen one." Jay pushed Lloyd's hand out of the middle.
"Ah. On three." said Kai. "One, two.." they started, "Wait a minute! That's it!" Lloyd cut them out. "What's 'it'?" asked Wu. "If you guys can keep him busy, I think I know how to stop him." said the Green Ninja. Kai and Zane turned to Cole. "I say we give the kid a shot." said Cole. "You're just saying that 'cause you're too afraid to face him." said Jay. "Do you wanna face it?" Cole pointed out. The Stone Warrior slashed at the door again. "I said we give the kid a shot." Jay decided.
Lloyd looked backwards, there was a vent behind the room. He immediately ran to it and took the lid off. "Be careful, Lloyd. And good luck." Misako said. "Thanks Mom." said Lloyd, then climbed into the vent. "I can't believe that's Lord Garmadon's son." said Misako. "Don't forget, he's yours too." said Wu. "He had a good teacher." smiled Misako. "You mean, teachers." Wu said, the ninja bowed.
